I Need Help Getting Benzodiazepines In North Carolina Or I'm Afraid I Will Be Back On Pain Killers (Page 3)

I must have called 20 or more doctors today. None of them will prescribe me benzodiazepines such as Klonopin at all. I'm 25 and have been on it since I was 16 and they just simply say "no one in the state will prescribe those thanks for calling".

I'm near Charlotte but right now I would drive anywhere to get them because in a week or two I will be deathly sick and I can't face that. I just moved across the country away from my family, stopped my addiction to pain killers (that was caused by anxiety), and I'm trying to better my life. And to make it worse I'm having such a hard time living on my own mentally and they want me to stop all benzos. PLEASE HELP ME if you know of anyone who can help. {edited for privacy}

You can go to Walgreens Drugs and within a hour get your photos developed, but...

Hey guys I know this thread is a little old but in just moved to Asheville NC and was wondering if anyone knew of a doctor anywhere within an hour that will prescribe xanax?

Benzodiazepines, including Clonazepeam (Klonopin) *must* be withdrawn slowly over time. You could be thrown into Benzo withdrawal quickly

I'm not sure if you found a doctor yet that gives you your benzos, but I've been going to a doctor in charlotte, nc for 4 years that's gives me kolipins and methadone. I have Lupus and anxiety and he's a wonderful doctor you just hand to be honest with him. If you still need one just let me know {edited for privacy} hope you got help by now....

I visited Scranton once! Home of "The Office"/ Why is the Hot dog so famous there? There should be Doctors available to help you. Check with the Phonebook, your Insurance directory, the State, or the Internet!

Please don't mix up Benzodiazepines with Pain Medicine. Go to your State doctor look up, and see if that doctor prescribes narcotics. Not listed in all States. Calling Doctor offices is very strange? I'm sure you are just as convincing in person

Well, your first mistake was calling doctor's offices and asking up front if they'd prescribe it. They are taught to see that as drug seeking behavior and will just automatically tell you no!

What you need to do is set up an appointment with a new doctor, then just make sure that they receive a full copy of your current medical records. Once they see what has and hasn't worked for you, as documented by a fellow physician, they will be more prone to prescribe accordingly.

But, as long as you keep panicking and calling around asking in the manner that you are, you're not going to get anywhere.

You should also be aware that under the new guidelines, if you require such a medication on a long-term basis, you'll most likely be referred to a specialist. General practitioners can only prescribe them for short durations.
