I Just Started A New Job. Will I Get Anxiety?

I just started a new job at a call center, we are very busy right now and i suffer from anxiety and panic disorder. I just started my methylprednisone pack and after reading the side effects im afraid the nervousness will affect me at work. I take prozac, clonazepam, triavil and trazadone. Should i be taking this steroid?

Yes, it can cause anxiety as a side effect in some people, as reported by the FDA, along with the nervousness, insomnia, acne and irritability.

However, it shouldn't completely negate your other medications, so they should still help.

It may, however, slightly reduce the effect of the Triavil and Trazodone.

Have you consulted your doctor? They may want you to temporarily increase your Clonazepam, while on this steroid.
