I don't take suboxone everyday, just a half of a quarter every 3 to 4 days for about a week or week and a half now. So plz someone tell me if it will be out of mine and the baby's system by the time of birth? I am due Oct.15th, 2015. Plz and thanks. I am a first time mom and I try not to hurt me or my child and I don't want cps involved in anything. I just need advice.

Just so you and anyone else knows, every drug you have taken, that crosses the placenta, since you conceived the child will remain in the umbilical cord and can be evaluated for illicit substances upon birth of the child.
It would be best, for your safety and that of your baby, to inform your doctor that you've taken it and get proper medical assistance.
I understand that you're scared, but you could be putting both of your lives at risk by not telling them.
The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
If you were taking this to try to beat drug addiction, the withdrawals can also be very dangerous for you and your baby.
Do you have an OB Gyn, yet?
