I go to methadone clinic, if I take zanaflex will it show on my drug screens?

Zanaflex is tzanadine (sp?) Which is non narcotic and should not show as a benzo. I do not know what its metabolites are or if your clinic checks for them. Do a little more research on the web to make sure the pull is what you've been told

Dear Sir or Madam, you’ve clearly lost your mind. Zanaflex doesn’t have any of either of those drugs in it. It is a completely separate compound. I don’t know if they test for it or not, but I certainly know it isn’t a combo of Xanax/Flexeril! You really should check your facts before giving advice. ‍

I can see where ur anger comes from but do NOT lump us together. I am in the clinic and have been clean 2yrs and i know the difference in most drugs and especially the difference in muscle relaxers and benzos lol i completely agree with ur statment expect the part where u put addicts down and where u are making fun of others. Instead of belittling try educating it goes a lot further..

I'm sorry, but not sure if they do, but if it is a benzo than...

...but if it is a benzo, they do check for these. Merthadone clinics worst enemies are benzo's because they cause the most deaths and the clinics have zero tolerance for these. They would rather you do cocaine or something (just making a point). The clinics don't even like if you drink alcohol, anything that is a depressant of any kind is a no no with the clinics.

I go to a methadone clinic and had a ua last week... Im very nervous because I took 2 1mg tablets of adavan... I know this comes out of your system up to twelve hours but im not sure if it will show or not?

No it doesn't. Benzos take 2-3 days for the metabolites to clear out. If you do Benzos often that timeframe will be even longer.

Nothing leaves you in 12 hours metabolite wise, alcohol would be the only one.

Thank you so much for setting them straight! I get so tired of these clinic pharmacist that think because they were an addict that they know it all. First off they shouldn't be asking about this s*** because they shouldn't be taking any of it!!! You go to the clinic to get off the s***, not find ways to take it without getting caught, or is that why you are there? Because you got caught? Sorry about your luck! Maybe in round two you will finally get it and live clean. In the meantime 'mothermayi' I really appreciate your honesty. Thanks!

Agreed. It is lime flexriel however both ade muscle relaxers and one(flexeril last 72hrs while the other only last 2.5hrs..) ... Neither are benzos and do not show up in drug screens...

What if he pulled his back is having muscle spasms doesn’t want to take a benzo or opioid, and knows this is a drug that isn’t narcotic and wants to handle his pain without relapsing? Tizanadine isn’t going to get him high but will help with his spasms/pain. He just doesn’t want to get in trouble for taking it. You're the kind of person that doesn’t need to be in any recovery setting get off your high horse you a-hole. thanks

Yes sir(or mam lol) benzo but the muscle relaxer n it won't cause it's just flexirile(however u spell it). But, also b aware that there's a little pill out there that looks just like xanaflex, and ppl throw it out to ppl saying it us xanaflex, (Taking advantage of ppl) but, it's really just a muscle relaxer that's very relaxing with maybe a slight nerve med in it...but NO narcotic properties. It looks like a white football but is shaped more like a buspirone pill(the pills not the bars), so just make sure that's not whatcha got...cuz if so u don't have to worry about a d test at all lol.
