I Get Oxycodone Hcl And Fentanyl And Am Very Tolerant Now
UpdatedI get 6 oxycodone pills a day and also wear a 100 mcg/hr fentanyl patch. I have been on same meds and dose about two years now and very tolerant to this combo and dose they are becoming ineffective for my pain and back trouble. I also take flexeral and baclofen for constant muscle relaxes as my spasms almost never stop. also. I take trazodone for sleep...I can't sleep but an hour to two hours at a time ever and feel like I'm going crazy family treats me like a criminal already for just having these meds as well as the pharmacy and everyone that knows what I get/take. idk I used to get valium as well for anxiety but it did nothing to help after a few months and I just asked to stop. when I did stop taking them I had these brain zaps like every two minutes that would last a few seconds to about ten seconds at the worst of it and that lasted about 4-5 weeks it was miserable and I fear taking any benzos at all now and they don't want to give me any type now because of the fentanyl? I have tried to talk to the doc he just kinda shrugs it off and ignore it and keeps writing me the same thing every month...is there anywhere to go or meds to change to and how do you explain it so they can understand that what I'm getting is simply not doing what it used to? My back deteriorates more and more constantly and the arthritis is so dense that you almost can't see where my back is falling apart. A couple docs have said if it wasn't for all the arthritis keeping everything kinda together it would have crumbled by now? Long story short I had a cancerous tumor wrapped round my spinal chord that started as testicular cancer and some how got into my spinal column. I had 44 grape sized tumors in my chest as well but that's another story...anyway this was when I was 16 year's old in 1990 the did a lamenectomy and removed the tumor then radiated the area to the max you can have on the spine and now my vertebrae are so poris and in pieces like 5-6 fractures and this goes from L3-L5, three vertebrae. I was paralyzed and was told I never would walk but in 1991 I turned to alternative treatment and gained the use of my legs back and have walked since. I worked a factory job and did well til I was about 37, but the last 6 years have been hell and are getting worse?? I am lost and have no idea what to do? Anyone have a similar condition or know where I can go from here or how to approach getting something done? I have now had trouble controlling my pills. I can take 20 a day easy and it wouldn't matter as they just don't work anymore?
