And can I take propranolol on an empty stomach? The reason I've not asked my doc these is that I never got a chance to, with all the panicing and now I can't contact one till tomorrow due to having no minutes.

It can be taken with or without food, so unless your doctor says otherwise, gauge it for yourself, if it makes you nauseous on an empty stomach, then it would be best to take it with food.
