I Am A Child Of A Mother Who Took Bendectin

I was born in 1966 I was born "pigeon toed wore braces on my legs for 6yrs and wore straight bar brace on my feet at night. At one point my Doctor informed my mother he would have to break my legs below the knee and turn my legs. As an adult I had two children my first OB doctor did not inform me that my uterus was backward, my son almost died. My second OB doctor told me. I had emergency csection with my son and a planned C-section with my daughter. About 4 years ago I found out I had a premature heart beat and "sagging heart". I know all of this is related to bendectin because no one in my family either side had these issues. My question is has anyone researched if those or other type issues or deformities can now be passed to our children.

Here's a Bendectin website with more information on the timeline, the issues it was suspected of causing, research details, and etc. It also includes specifics on all the references used, which should help you find more information, as well.

If your children haven't shown any signs of such issues, so far, then it isn't likely that they will, though there's no way to be certain. Your issues may not all be related to the Bendectin, even if no one else in our family suffers from them, since not all health problems are hereditary, and some may be far back in your genetic tree, and showed up now due to recessive genes.
