I take 1.0 mg of klonopin a day and as prescribed and it is not showing up in my urine test. The Doctor that prescribes my medication thinks that I am not taking it. Has anyone ever heard of this and if so what could be the reason for it not showing up in my urine test? The Doctor accused me of not taking my medication he prescribed. Yet offers no reason why it does not show in my urine.

sorry but your totally wrong not all methadone is formulated the same Sweden is the only country in the world that uses pure 100% methadone in the united states they use a 50/50 solution of methadone 50% positive isomers and 50% negative isomers now here is where it gets clinical and chemistry is deeply involved I am not an expert this is what I have learned over extensive research on the subject it is my understanding that that are 2 basic isotopes one which attaches itself to dopamine and another one which does the same to serotonin now these 2 isotopes which in pain medication is a 60%-40% ratio and in drug treatment is the opposite a 40%-60% ratio this is the easiest way for me to explain this with out going into and actually breaking it right down to the molecular Formula which actually is C21H27NO these formulations are all done at the manufacturing level of the medications hope this helps

I take xanax on a daily basis that are prescribed to me & my doctor tells me it's not showing up in my urine drug test! I do another for him & then he preceeded to tell me that if this one fails he will no longer provide me anymore of the meds I'm on! To me that is so unfair when I know I'm taking it & he's looking and treating me like a piece of trash! I'm 48 yrs old & never have tried any kind of drugs in my life not even marijuana so I feel this is a unfair judgment!

This just happened to me yesterday.. 1mg of klonopen 3xs daily not showing up in urine.Dr. says that I can't be taking it..Asks what am I doing with them??? Been taking Benxos for 12 years . and now not showing up!! Any help greatly appreciated!! CSNT figure this one out.
Ques I will go to office 3 times daily driving 70 miles if I have to prove it !!!

Dt. I take 1 mg of Xanax four times a day and have been taking them for 30 years and my doctor now is saying they are not showing up for the last four months at least along with my Norco that is not showing up which take three 7.5 mg daily. But medicines with the last letters of Pine are showing up along with sleeping meds and some other stuff that I have never heard of. This is very frustrating but goes I must have my Xanax or I will go into a major panic at Jack – wish I could figure out what their problem is. Are you getting the the teava the green ones? It all the depends on the pharmacy that you go to. And I would suggest that you go to a different one. Because I get the same ones and mine show up

I totally believe you because I am going through the same thing it is crazy and with all the scientific stuff they have today you think they would have a simple urine test to detect klonopin xanax any type of benzos in the year of 2016

I didn't get that information from the line at a methadone clinic. Was told that by Dr that prescribes the klonopin. That might be a lesson in not assuming things.

The reason klonepin does not show up is because it is an anti-seizure medication. The FDA is trying to change its classification to Benzodiazepine.

I took. 5 mg. Of klonopin last night @ 9:00pm. At the methadone clinic had a surprise urine at 11:00 am. I was told it won't show up because the level has to be over a certain amount for it to even show up. It's 300 something (don't know what is called) and by only taking .5 mg. won't even get me closer to this level. Is this true or false? I don't want to lose my take outs since I've been clean for years.

Never believe what you hear in the line at a methadone clinic. Here in the usa we have a thing called the FDA, which regulates generic and brand name drugs. The generic may be like, 1% weaker at most. But methadone clinic pharmacists are a bad source of info on just about anything in my opinion.

This is the information I received from Teva the MFG of my clonazepam/Klonopin. A nurse at Kaiser knew this and so did a lady a the message call center.... but not the Dr. HMMMM??? And it seems there are many Dr.s that need to get up to speed on this, as it is affecting so many people that take it.

You could take even more than what you take yet you would still get a false negative for clonazepam. Here is what I found out from Teva, the manufacturer of my Clonazepam..... It metabolizes rapidly and the liver only excretes 2% and within a short time it is gone from your urine. I am afraid to share the email they sent me cause it was said to be confidential. But on your bottle there should be the name of your manufacturer. Go online like I did and find a place to text them or call. I texted and got this very good explanation proving I wasn't lying. Then when I got my BP tested today I asked my nurse who to give this email to in order to get them off my back and she was aware of how it doesn't show up in urine tests, but not the DANG Dr. who tested me and accused me and said horrible things to me. and apparently many Dr.s don't know. So I hope you can get the info you need by contacting your Manufacturer. Mine got back an email in 2 days. Any questions for me and I will try to help. I am just a widow with no medical background and got what I hope I needed. Seems our Drs. need to test another way for Clonazepam. I am really trying to help people who are being mistreated as I was.

How do we get all these Dr.s educated about why Klonopin after an hour will no longer show in your urine.. We need a professional to explain why clonazepam doesn't show in the urine. With so many posts from so many, just one email explaining why would help so many... I need it to show my dr because it will effect my Dr's thoughts about me in future urine tests.

If you can explain that what the urine is going to excrete happens within a half hour and then it is gone from our bladder and will no longer show. But I know this but hearing from just a widow that is on SSI isn't very good validation. So a document stating why you know what Klonopin does would have so much more merit to it.

Many of us are having this same problem. And one person posted that his Dr knew the reason. But to get an actual professional proof is hard. There are many threads discussing this problem but this one person answered with his dr. knew and it is that the liver with clonazepam and other benzoides will pass it on within an hour and it is gone from your system in that time. And then its only about 2 percent which is a low amount. Hope this helps

wOW tHIS IS A HUGE PROBLEM FOR MANY. I am seeing online that it is effecting everyone that take clonazepam/klonopin. I too am continuing to fight this and I know why it happens but I need to get a professional opinion in writing to fight this with Kaiser and maybe help others

I was recently, in the last 2 mo...
3x & 2 came out w/pcp dirty (I didn't)
& the last 1 came back w/ morphine..
Although I had clean 1x, I was taken
off both oxycodone AND klonipin that fast.. I'm about 10 days off the pins & 2 mo. off oxycodone.. I STILL have shakes & hot/cold chills, BUT, I VOW I'm NOT EVER GOIN' BACK., This is too hard b/c I've spent YEARS (30)
to FINALLY get here.. God Bless all

I just got tested and my colazapam came postive for barbiturates. Go figure that one out. In December my test came back negative. My niece says her colazapam never shows a positive for Benzo as well. It is the testing.
