Hydroxyzine - How Much Is Too Much? (Top voted first)

My mom is on 210 mg Hydroxyzine, Seroquel 200, and Trilogy all 900 mg, plus Temazepam 30mg. Should i be worried about an overdose? She's 63 and has been diagnosed with bipolar II.

Have these dosages all been prescribed for her by her doctor?

They aren't going to prescribe amounts that will put her life at risk. Bipolar disorder is a very serious illness that can be hard to control and often dose require high doses of multiple medications to gain control.

The FDA classifies Hydroxyzine as an antihistamine that's commonly used for its sedative like effects. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, sedation and somnolence. It can be taken in amounts up to 300mgs a day for sedation.

Seroquel is an atypical antipsychotic and its typical side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and weight gain.

Temazepam is a benzodiazepine, so it carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability.

What is Trilogy? I'm not familiar with anything under that name.
