Can Hydroco over a period of time and years of use cause blood spot on the surface of your skin and cause you to bruise easily? That happens to me off and on and my family doctor said it was from the Hydroco. Some people thought I was on blood thinners but I didn't take blood thinners. Could this be related to part of the side affects of prolong use of Hydroco. I have been taking this for many years but not addicted to it cause I can go with out it and have no side affects of withdrawals. No, I don't have liver spots. 44 175 os the saneamiento percoses ## Tablets with the number 44 followed by 3 additional numbers are over the counter products, so they don't contain any narcotics of any type. This last prescription I got were white tablets with little green specs - one side has the letter V and the other side has 3594. I have only taken solid white tablets in the past for Hydrocodone Pills ## Hi Sandra, The one's marked V 3594 are simply made by a different manufacturer than what most people are used to seeing. Oblong white pills definitely seem to be the most commonly prescribed versions, while there are yellow, blue, pink, orange and green tablets as well. I've also seen the white ones with red specs. Keep in mind though that these colors and/or shapes are always subject to change depending upon the discretion of the manufacturer. I hope this helps!

I have a prescription for HYDROCODONE APAP 5-500 TABLMCK that has a discard date of 2010. Are these still safe to use? If not, what is recommended method of disposal? ## They don't get dangerous past the expiration date, but they do lose effectiveness, so they are most likely worthless by now. The recommended FDA method of disposal is to mix them with some undesirable substance, such as used coffee grounds, or used kitty litter and then to place that in a sealed container in the garbage. Having problems with these doing much for relief. Tying to come back from cancer and other medical problems. Here they are just aspirin. ## Hi Larry, Will they not prescribe you anything else but this mid-level Vicodin? I find it odd that patients without such conditions have access to much stronger pain medications. Although I wouldn't wish those addicting opiates on anyone, sometimes intervention is necessary to get the initial relief you need. If your doctor is unwilling to prescribe what you feel you need, then it may be time to switch doctors to someone who specializes in pain management. I took two hydro fives today at about 12this afternoon I have been drinking LOTS of water... Will it be out of my system for a ua tomorrow morning? ## There's really no way to say for sure, the normal time frame is about 4 to 5 days, but that always varies from person to person, depending on your own individual metabolism, overall health and etc. Additionally, if you take in too much water, your urine could be diluted, which might cause there to be no results on the test and that can cause suspicion just as easily as a positive result. Liver damages was the reason given? ## Currently, removing many doses of Hydrocodone with Acetaminophen, is something that's being taken under consideration, because of the liver damage that the Acetaminophen can cause. An issue that often occurs, after gastric bypass, is that many substances, including medications, don't get a chance to stay in your stomach long enough to be absorbed. The same can happen with foods, which is why people have to be careful not to become malnourished. Didn't they discuss any of these issues with you, before the surgery? ## I am 3+ years post-GB and have chronic back pain. Certain "inactive" ingredients that may or may not be present in each brand, are actually detrimental to how the drug is metabolized and used by your body. Because everyone is different, your body may agree with one medication over the other, due to how you feel or based on whatever side effects present themselves. Is Hydrocodone Apap 10 325 safe to take if I am allergic to Codeine ? ## That's actually a good question, because Hydrocodone is a derivative of codeine. However my mom is allergic to codeine as well and she's on the same dose of Hydrocodone apap (10/325) right now and hasn't had any bad reactions other than the typical itching sensation that is sometimes associated with this combination. She was also initially worried about an allergic reaction but hasn't experienced one. With codeine she would break out in hives and whatnot. So I can only base my answer off of her experience, in that it should be fine since it's a derivative of codeine and not actual codeine.
