Please provide with the NDC for the above product. ## Hello, Nancy! How are you? Can you please double check the dosage for the one you need? There has never been a 7.5/700 dosage of this medication. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

did they quite making hydrocod/apap10-500mg tab because they are not the same that they give me now they are call Norco 10-325mg tab and the ones I was taken was lortab what the differ in them please help me to no all about this the 10-500 help my back so much and now the don't help as much why. ## Hello, Jeannie! How are you? Yes, as of the first of the year, they are only available with a maximum of 325mgs of Acetaminophen per dose, just like the new one you are taking. The Acetaminophen tends to augment the action of the narcotic, that's why the new one doesn't seem to work as well for you. However, your body should adjust after a week or two. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, d...

I was wondering what the difference is between hydro and oxo codone? Is it the way the pill is made or extracted from the plant, Hydro is by water and Oxy is by oxygen??? I seem to think the oxycodone is stronger and almost all doctors and health care say it is more addicting than hydrocodone, why is this??? I have taken both for cruched disc in my neck and back, is there anything closely related without so much tylenol, I am severely allergic to Ibuprophen (all anit-Inflamitories) and hate the side affects of the tylenol in with either of these..Any help...???? Thanks ## M369 ## I also have an issue with hydrocondone I I sweat alot when because of all the tylenol I am taking 10/650- LORCET .they are blue . I have used Tussionex Pennkineticsusp for years and never had any problems. Recently I got the generic version, took it once. I felt dizzy and nauseated and light headed all day. Will now go back to the regular version. I always thought that generic should be the same, but it is not. Taste different too. ## The taste is really irrelevant, that just depends on what flavoring agents the manufacturer uses and it has no bearing on the efficacy of the medication. However, no generics don't have to be 100% exactly the same as the name brands. Under the laws of the U.S. FDA, they are allowed to differ, in the active ingredients, by as much as plus or minus 20%. Since the dizziness, nausea and light headed feeling can be normal side effects of the Hydrocodone in this, which is a narcotic, m...

I took half a 5/325 Hydrocodone yesterday about 4 and got called in to the office at work to do a random oral fluid (Saliva) drug test and was wondering if I will still have a job after they get the results back? ## So did you still have a job?

I recently visited my PM doctor and was given a surprise saliva drug test. I am on 15mg oxycodone IR for a herniated disc and a pinched nerve. Two days prior to that I took maybe half of a 5mg hydrocodone pill. Probably less than that though, I would guess closer to 1mg of hydrocodone, if even that much. I took the rest of the pill 4 days prior to the test. I took my prescribed oxycodone up till the night before the test. Will the hydrocodone show up on the test? It has been two days since they took my saliva and I have not heard back anything, yet. The hydrocodone was an old prescription from that same doctor, I took it because I was getting close to running out of my oxycodone. Should I be worried? I am very skinny, diabetic, and have a fast metabolism.

price paid at walmart pharmacy for 30 hydrocodone/acetaminophen 5-300 mg tabs $61.08!!! ## @bushel, From your wording I can't begin to tell if you are excited or angry at the notion of paying $61.08 for 30 tabs. Is this how much a script of 30 generic Vicodin tabs usually goes for at your local pharmacy? There are a number of pharmacy price checkers that can be found on Google if you ever feel the need to compare prices from different pharmacies in your general area. I hope this helps! ## CVS is about $20. Ask for cash discount programs.

Its roumd it has a 5 on the front it looks yellow its small round with a spilt in the middle its got some wrighting on back. ## Hello, Ghost! How are you? They usually aren't very small, because they contain both Hydrocodone and Acetaminophen. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Can you check to see what the rest of the writing is and post back? Thanks!

my grandmother was prescribed 10 mg hydrocodone in a blister pack by hospice. they are dark blue capsules and have absolutely no marks on them. has anyone ever seen these out there? ## These are most likely specially made for her by a compounding pharmacy, which is why they are unmarked and in the blister packs. Many hospices or large hospitals have one on site or nearby to be able to order specialty mediations for their patients. The manufactured formulations all couple the Hydrocodone with Acetaminophen, so it has to be specially ordered to just get the Hydrocodone by itself. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

I just found out that my wife is trying to quit cold turkey hydrocodone that she has been taking for 7 years 325mg for her pain. she has only been off for 2 days and not feeling well at all I don't like the idea her going cold turkey. what should I be watching for? ## Hello, Baron! How is she doing? Are you sure of what she was taking? There is no 325mgs Hydrocodone, it usually comes in tablets coupled with Acetaminophen which would be the 325mgs, but the Hydrocodone would only be 5, 7.5 or 10. And how much was she taking, how often? It could be dangerous for her to try to quit cold turkey. It would be best to get medical assistance.

Hello: I'm 62 yr. old man, taking Hydrochlorothiazide & Metoprolol for high blood pressure. Have moderate to severe osteoarthritis and recently had an auto accident with a bad case of whiplash. Dr. is prescribing 5-325 hydrocodone for pain in back & neck (I weight 265-270). 1 every 8 hrs. Some days it works ok but never eliminates the pain..... Should I cut them in half and take every 4 hrs? Am afraid od getting addicted. By the way, I've previously been told by same Dr that I do NOT have an addictive personality.... I don't understand. I hate taking any medication. How about people that have to take similar meds for long term pain care... can they avoid becoming addicted?... I'm concerned due to the fact that I was just told this week that the arthritis in my sp...

I have been taking the 10/500 mg pink hydrocodone and recently there was a recall on this pill.I was given the same in a white oblong pill. The pink has always seemed to work best for me.Do you know when the pharmacy will be able to distribute the pink ones again ?. ## Does anyone know when the pink lortab will be back in the drug stores?? ## Yes, the pink tablets manufactured by Qualitest and distributed by Mylan Pharmaceuticals were recalled due to the concern that they contain more Acetaminophen than they should. Learn more Vicodin details here. That said, there were only 3 lots that were recalled, there are still others available, it's likely that your pharmacy just didn't have any in stock at this time, so they provided you with the medication from a different manufacturer. ...

Hi, I have a drug test scheduled for Mon or Tuesday. Need to know if this is long enough to cleanse the system. It takes 2-4 days to leave the body. Took about 4-7 7.50 hydrocodones a day for past month. Last pill was Wed at 2pm (took total 4 that day) Should I count Thursday as a clean day? Or Friday? Thur-Mon = 5 days OR Fri-Tue= 5 days ## I did take a home test on Sunday (2,000 cut off) and passed. Well I found out the test I took today was a lab one. The cut-off levels can go all the way down to 300. DOT regulations went from 300 to 2000, but non-dot test can go below the 2000. To get down to 300 ng, would this still be in the 2-4 days or longer?

Mallinckrodt & Qualitest Opium based pain relievers by prescription only need to be tested for the amount of hydrocodone & oxycodone that is in each pill. The Mallinckrrodt brands have for the last 10 to 15 years in the State of Virginia not been manufacured correctly. They purchased a high standard company named Qualitest a few years ago & have ran their wonderful pain relievers into the ground. Chronic pain sufferers and insurance companies are being ripped off!! If there is 2 milligrams of hydrocodone or oxycodone in a 10 milligram pill we can all write home to mama, but a big group of us know they are making dollars hurting us. What is going to be done?? It is almost 2 years old. Now,after reading this, know why it has not helped me.I have a prescription for Tramadol 50 mg. It seems to work better... I also am taking Amoxiciln . 500mg. I was wondering if taking the Tramadol and Hydrocodone alterating if it will be ok? ## Hello, Kathy! How are you? If the Hydrocodone isn't helping you, why keep taking it? Why not just take the Tramadol that you've been prescribed? This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

I have severe joint pain and I am breast feeding my 1 year baby. Its alright to take Hydrocodone 5/325mg..just for one to two days? I just want the pain to go away. Over the counter meds isn't any helpful. ## It is unknown about the safety of taking hydrocodone when breast feeding. More likely than not it will pass through the breast milk affecting your baby. He or she can become lethargic, sluggish or very drowsy. As a medical provider I would not advocate taking this medication during breast feeding. You do have some options however. Firstly, switch to formula or pump when not taking the hydrocodone but you must wait at least 36 hour fr it to be completely cleared from true bloodstream. I hope ths helps. ## Hi Mary, From what I've been reading, it sounds like you'd really ...
