What type of side effects did you have from it? The Hydrocodone is a another narcotic that is related to Codeine, so you may also experience side effects from it. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## the side effects I had to Tylonel 2,3 & 4 is severe nausia, vomiting and intense headaches and the tylonel 4 actually gives hillucinations as well. So I'm a little worried about taking another medication that might be related and might give me the same side effects. :( thanks for any advice on this.
is this what is says it is, no marking on capsule, no taste to powder ## Hello, Daisy! How are you? Very doubtful. All manufactured prescription produces in the U.S. are required to have markings to enable their identification, in case of emergency. The only exception would be something done by a compounding pharmacy, that was specially ordered by someone's doctor, they use capsules, but usually clear ones, since they are the cheapest option. Where was this obtained?
I had been taking Hydrocodone 5-500 (Vicodin) many years at the same dose when this drug was discontinued an replaced with the 5-325 (Norco) strength. I am still taking the same number of pills daily but after about three months I just do not feel like the new pills control the pain as well as the previous ones did. I know there is not supposed to be any different between the two other than the amount of acetaminophen is there anything else that might effect how the medicine is absorbed and how quickly it is? Any ideas would be appreciated, thx. ## Jerry, when you have a heneric, the amount of active ingredient may vary, the fillers also vary and this can make one slightly stronger or weaker than the other. If you have a generic that has 10 mg of a med, the actual amount may be 8 mg-12 ...
What is the street value of this pill? I believe that it is a form of hydrocodone, but not a very common one. ## This contains 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone and 200mgs of Ibuprofen, it is a generic for Vicoprofen, which is a narcotic analgesic. Learn more Vicoprofen details here. I am sorry, however, the drug information I have available does not extend to the street value of anything. I can only help with medication usage and side effect information. Are there any other questions that I may be able to help with? ## It can go for as much as 5 bucks a piece but a fair price is four bucks a piece depending on who wants them ## Here in tx you can get $5 for a 7.5.... but we don't get alot of hydrocodone and ibuprofen. ... what we see is hydrocodone and Tylenol. ... but if it was a 10 mg instea...
I found some pills in my medicine cabinet with M359 on one side. Is this a loratab? ## hi yes its a lortab 10 mg i take this all the time for a back injury ## THIS IS NOT A 10MG TABLET! This is actually Hydrocodone 7.5mgs and Acetaminophen 650mgs, so it is a generic for Lortab, but a lower dose than Britt stated. ## that pill contains 650 milligrams of acetomenophen and is therefore called lorcet. it is a 7.5 mg pill ## I absolutely love these. My favorite pain killer...YUMMY!!! ## no this is not a 10mg pill, it's a 7.5 mg............ ## can a drug panel decipher opiates in the same class in a UA or do the results suggest differences between opiates
What is the difference between Hydrocodone Apap 5 325 Tab AMNE and Hydrocodone Apap 5 325 Tab QUAL ## The AMNE and the QUAL are both just abbreviations for the manufacturer of those particular tablets, so that's the only difference. AMNE stands for Amneal Pharmaceuticals and QUAL stands for Qualitest. This is a generic medication, so it is manufactured by several different companies, another one that I can think of off the top of my head that makes this same dose is Watson Pharmaceuticals. Is there anything else I can help with? You can learn more Vicodin details here. ## no - thank you. I thought they were the same but they looked different and one seemed to be stronger than the other in the affect of making me drowsy ## If they are the same then why do they look different & pe...
I have an orange pill that has 3605 imprinted on it, and last week I had a yellow pill with 3652 on it and that made me feel really good, my question is with one is stronger and better to take, because it seemed like the 3605 was weaker, I just want to see if this is all in my head ## Hello, Mac! How are you? The tablet with the 3605 V contains 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. However, there is no listing for anything with the numbers 3652 on it. Can you please double check the marking and post back? Thank you!
Can you take Hydrocodone 500 mg / 5 mg with a butran patch? ## Hello, Cyrstal! How are you? The 500/5mg are no longer available, the Acetaminophen in all such combination medications has been reduced to no more than 325mgs per dose. That said, yes, if your doctor has approved it, you can take both. Medications like these are often combined to help someone gain better control of their pain. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?
Would taking 3 vicodin 500mg/5mg be the same affect as taking 1 15mg oxytocin ## Hello, Dreamy! How are you? Did you mean Oxycodone, the narcotic? If so, then no. Oxycodone is actually stronger than Hydrocodone. 15mgs of Hydrocodone is only equal to about 10mgs of Oxycodone. Did your doctor make this switch? This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## Thank you so much for replying im educating myself on all the different pain pills thank you
I am being prescribed compounded hydrocodone 20mg, the pharmacy I have been using went way up on price, 2 times. Where in Houston can I get this prescription filled at a reasonable price? ## Hello, TC! How are you? The best idea I have for you is to call your nearby large hospitals and ask them for the names of local compounding pharmacies. You can then get in touch with those pharmacies for more information. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Does anyone else have any ideas?
Had a tooth extracted and I took two 500 mg of Tylenol. Can I take a 5 325 Vicodin three hours later? ## Yep drink water ## Hi Mark! You just need to be careful of the amount of Tylenol ( acetaminophen) you take. It gives you instructions on the Tylenol bottle as to how much you can take. Remember that the Vicodin has 325 mgs in it too, from what you said. ## If you take more than 650 mg of tylenol, you have to wait at least 6 hrs before taking any more tylenol, that includes the Vicodin. Do not take more than 1,000 tylenol every 6 hrs or more than 4,000 tylenol is a 24 hr period.
I took half of a 7.5 lortab about 12:30 yesterday and took a saliva test about 1:30 today......will it show up? ## I took two hydro 10s for two days an none today an have a mouth swab at 10:30 in morning is that long enough basically 40 hours with none????
I seem to have a very smart Doctor. He prescribed Norco 10-325 for post surgical pain. The first bottle gave me nothing but relief. The refill, at a different pharmacy, caused unbelievable itching all over and down my throat. I called and told him he had me look up the mfgr on the bottle. It was Qua. He said my problem is the dye used in the second batch. He re prescribed to the original pharmacy and got the Norco manufactured by Watson. If you are taking an opiate that is making you itch, have your doctor re prescribe from a pharmacy that uses the pill made by a different mfgr. You are probably not allergic to opiates or Codiene after all. ## Hello, Charliemike! How are you? I am very sorry about the problem that you experienced. However, I would like to clarify that while this may be ...
my doctor has prescribed hydrocodone and that is all I take for pain management in N. C. at Walreen's; I never was declined due to insurance nor store's policy for these tablets, and now my PA and MD in pain management have suddenly turned it into a "history" of me picking up my Rx's early on a regular basis ,which is not even true according to my records; I do not understand why one day it was fine with my physician, as I we had always agreed that I wanted lowest doseage of pain meds tolerable for my chronic pain due to herniations and bulging discs, and these are the 10/325's, I tried Tramadol as a break-through Rx, and dropped it, no break through meds. such as that had any help for me, and higher medications with opiates actually suggested by the PA were decl...
Hi, my name is Rebecca & I currently take hydrocodone 5/325mg tablets q6hrs for pain. I get 60 & I have refills so I can refill them as needed every 15 days. I was released from the hospital on Sunday w/pleurisy of the lungs due to my lupus. On Friday August 8th, my doctor gave me a prescription for Lortab liquid to ease my cough since I cannot take codeine. I filled the script for the Lortab liquid yesterday Friday. It is 10/300 taking 5ml every 4 hrs & there's 120mls which comes to 24 doses or 4 days supply. I am scheduled to have my hydrocodone tablets refilled on Tuesday & I'm wondering if b/c I just had the liquid filled will it cause me a problem. Tuesday will be the day the liquid is scheduled to run out also & since they're different scripts, diff...
I have a right below the knee amputation due to a land mine that happened in 1968, have never needed pain meds up until 2 to 3 years ago at which time my doc prescribed hydroc/apap 10-650 mg--formerly lortab. Now it has been changed to the same thing only in a 10-325 mg which from what I have been told was due to a change in the law Jan 2014-the 10-650 did a fair job if I oook one every 4 hrs of course the 10-325 do not seem to help very much, have about a 8 out of ten on the pain chart. My wife was given Oxycod/ap 5-325 when she had Cancer surgery, I have taken some of the leftovers and can go 8 to 10 hrs without much pain at all. Can you tell me if they still made this or something equal to it or even the 10-650 lortab that is easily avaviable? Thanks!!1 ## The tylenol in all prescript...

25 years ago had car accident that was bad right arm was amputated I'm from pa but moving to pendelton cause husband got new job how do I find a doctor that will give me same pain meds as I have been on all these years I take hydrocodone 10 mill and soma for back spasam 350 mill ## A new dr may or may not keep you on the same meds as your previous dr. You will need a copy of your medical records proving that there is a reason. But, there are no guarantees. Many drs have stopped prescribing Soma, especially with certain pain meds due to OD's and ER visits that involve these meds.
I'm a Disabled Army Combat Veteran and I've had, to no surprise, a slew of different types of hydocodone, but recently the pills I've been issued have red or blue spots in them. I was told by my doctor that the spotted pills absorb into your body faster and therefore begin working faster and last longer, is this fact or fiction? ## Fiction! They are all regular release tablets that will take 15 to 20 minutes to start working and the speckles in some of them make no difference to that. That's just something that the manufacturer decided to do to their tablets to set them apart from the others available on the market. Learn more Vicodin details here. Any such colors and speckles are entirely up to whit and whim and mean nothing whatsoever to the actual absorbency rate of t...
I have had these for a while and don't know if they will hurt me, help me or just be ineffective. ## Hello, Greg! How are you? These tablets contain 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone and 500mgs of Acetaminophen, this dosage is no longer being manufactured. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. If they are in a bottle as dispensed by your pharmacy, then they expire one year from the date they were dispensed, because those bottles expose them to the elements that cause degradation. They don't become harmful, but they do lose effective, so you should just dispose of them. Is there anything else I can help with? ## The DOD has done multiple studies on degradation ...
