I'm a Disabled Army Combat Veteran and I've had, to no surprise, a slew of different types of hydocodone, but recently the pills I've been issued have red or blue spots in them. I was told by my doctor that the spotted pills absorb into your body faster and therefore begin working faster and last longer, is this fact or fiction? ## Fiction! My doctor changed my medication from Lortab 7.5 500 to Norco 7.5 325, but now i'm super sleepy for about 2 hours now. Are they still making the round white Watson 10-325? After being on them for yrs for pain for my back all of a sudden the pharmacy changes to another that's A333. Not working nearly as well. Any manufactured prescription products in the U.S. are required to have unique markings to enable their identification. The only exception would be something done by a compounding pharmacy and they usually use plain capsules, since they are cheaper. why did they take it of the market? ## Hello, Ed! How are you? Hydrocodone has not been removed from the market. The only thing pulled from the market were the products that contained higher amounts of Acetaminophen. A change was made to lower that to no more than 325mgs per dose. I'm on disability and I can't get my hydrocodone's. Most pain doctors that take Medicaid turned me down and won't even see me. I made a mistake about five years ago and failed the drug panel and now I can't find a pain doctor. I have a tropical flavored hydrocodone-apap liquid but it doesn't say the strength?!! How much wud I need to take to equal 1 yellow 10/325 norco? It says take 1 teaspoon every 4-6 hrs for cough. Or am I way off and the whole bottle won't equal 1? Lol ## The bottle should have the amount of medication in 5 cc's on the bottle. Are there any numbers on the bottle after the name of the medication ? ## If it's hydrocodone/acetaminophen sol, it's 7.5/325 per 15 ml meaning 7.5 mgs hydrocodone, 325 Tylenol if it's the new sol, older formula has 500mg acetaminophen(Tylenol) so you would need 20ml to get 10mg. I was just wondering if there is anyone in this forum that lives in the area of Roanake or Orange, Virginia, and if it's a problem getting narcotic medication there, genreally? I'm thinking about moving there but I need my narcotic meds and I don't want to run into problems in getting them when I do move there.
