My wife has hydrocodone/acetaminophen 5-325 generics for a previous foot surgery she had in May. We had a babysitter today watching our kids and when we got home this evening she went to get one for a migraine she had going on and there was a white, round, no coating or imprint pill in the bottle. Neither of us have many medications or are familiar with them and cannot remember what they looked like but it doesn't seem right. Anyone know what they should look like or could they possibly be like what we saw in the bottle? ## Any hydrocone meds weather it b 5/325 or7/325 etc wil have Watson on one side or other that person switched ur meds to have ur narcoics ## Hello, Beezus! How are you? They do not all have the Watson marking, because there are several pharmaceutical companies that...

Wife has RA and has tried many different NSAIDs to relieve pain and reduce swelling. We don't want to take the standard RA Meds as the side effects are bad as well. Due to intense pain a few nights ago, I let her use some of my hydrocodone with acetaminophen and woke up feeling better than she had in months. What part of the drug is responsible for reducing the inflammation and then the pain to allow her to use her hands and walk. Are there other options we should look at for her pain/inflammation? Many of the NSAIDs haven't worked effectively for her. ## Hello, Todd! How are you and your wife? It could be that this is a good medication for her and she may need to ask her doctor about trying it. Was it the combination with Hydrocodone and Acetaminophen? It does take opiates to h...

I took a drug test at my pain management and it came back that I had no hydrocodone in my system and it had only been about 4days since I took it. How is this possible ## There is something strange going on. The same thing happened to me on Jan 15, 2013. I was negative for hydrocodone, but I had run out 3 days prior. I thought it might have to do with my ionic footbath cleansing and and other nutritional supplements I take to help reduce further "toxic pain" They told me it was my second "negative" screen, first being last July, right after I'd started a high alkaline water regime wihich really helped me feel better...but I still couldn't get by without my hydro (three ruptured disks, osteoarthritis, CDs, fibromyalgia, bla, bla, bla...). They almost kicked me out...

I usually get the yellow V 36 01 when I fill my 10mg Norco. This time they gave me white V 36 09. ## Hi debra, The V 36 09 white pill is a new version made by Qualitest that only recently came out on the market; which is why information seems scarce at the moment. However other patients here have also confirmed this in the following discussion thread: Discuss/hydrocodone-yellowwith-v-on-one-and-3609-on-the-other-what-dose-208024.htm It reportedly contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone + 325mgs of Acetaminophen. Though I'm not sure if it's brand name Norco or generic. You could try contacting the manufacturer for more specific details if need be. I hope this helps! ## it is generic norco . made my hand swell, and I was very irritable . Horrible feeling

I take Norco 10/325mg, 1tab q 4-6 hrs. Taking past 2 yrs chronic pain. Started seeing pain mgmt 3 months ago. I take it about every 4-5 hrs around clock. Wake up night back pain about 2 a.m. My urine drug levels past 2 months were 20,000. Dr. said it should be about 4-6,000. He accused me of popping 4-5 at a time which is completely false. Switched me to Hysingla ER 60 mg. I have to keep a log of meds taken and pill count each visit. How could my levels be so high? I don't feel I was abusing. Do you think my having taken the pill before a routine urine test might have just been at the peak level? He suspects me of abuse. No way could tolerate over 1 dose. ## What should a person's urine level be if they take Norco 10-325mg, 1 tablet four times a day [Starting on 8/18/16 to 9/1/1...

I was in the hospital 2 months ago a was given a couple hydros and some morphine. About a month ago I took 2 more because I was in a lot of pain. I have a hair test coming up in 45 days and was wondering if I'd be over the cut off limit and if so, will I be able to claim it was from the couple I was given in the hospital? ## A Hair Drug Test is meant to show consistent use over time. A 1.5 inch sample, cut at the scalp line, will go back 90 days. As far as the hydos go I don't think they will show up . In regards to the morphine it's any body's guess how much they gave you but you should be able to get some type of letter from the attending physician to clear that end of it. Of course you could do your own anonymous hair 5 drug panel test to see where you stand.

Having real bad ear infection pain, I took two 5/325 norco and ibuprofen 800 for inflammation. Should i not have taken them at the same time? ## Hello, Purdy! How are you? They can be taken together, as long as your doctor has instructed you to take them both. But, as reported by the FDA, you may experience more side effects than usual, such as more intense nausea, dizziness, drowsiness and stomach pain. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I took half of a Lortab 10; the white one with m367 on one side and a line on the other, but before that I took 4 ibuprofen 200 mg which 4 made it 800 mg. I can't sleep. I'm supposed to take my blood pressure medicine at 11/12 tonight but I haven't.

I was prescribed Norco for severe back pain and I woke up sick as a dog. Loratab didnt make me feel this way but Norco did. I took one 10-325 Wednesday night and tiday is Saturday and I still feel lightheaded ## Hello, Sonya! How are you? Are you receiving the name brands, or generics? What are the markings on the tablets? Can you please post back and clarify? This information will help me research more details for you. The FDA does want that it can cause nausea and vomiting, as side effects, in some people that take it, along with dizziness, drowsiness, headache, dry mouth and constipation. It also carries the risk of being habit forming. ## That should be warn, not want! Oh, autocorrect, I hate you so! LOL

I don't have a lot of money , what I do have in pill form is 5-325 and 7.5-325 both of which are Hydrocodone Acetaminophen so I'm close to the end of the 7.5-325 hydrocodon and to make it I wanted to know how many pills of the 5-325 hydrocodon will I need to keep taking the same strength to equal the 7.5-325 ? ## That really isn't going to work, because though you might be able to get close to the proper dose of Hydrocodone, but would always be getting more than 325mgs of Acetaminophen, since it is in both tablets. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation. Have you consulted your doctor for advice and assistance? They ma...

What pain level constitutes a synthetic heroin patch along with oxycodone? And why is it so easy to get for someone I know? Too many pill doctors give PEOPLE WHAT THEY WANT. Person claims to have back pain, so was put on the patch and as pain increases the person is given hydrocodone rather oxyodone. Nothing wrong with the person, they just want pills. I told them they should have back surgery. She said the doctor said she's 2 young. lol they are 40 years old, give me a break. If I would not get in trouble I would turn her and her doctor in, he is a pill pusher. When they go to doctor and are asked what level of pain (1 to 10), they always say a 10.. yet I had just seen her pick up a 50 lb baby and walk all over the place with no pain. ## Sometimes having back surgery can cause more...

I work in a surgical practice and today we were told by a pharmacy that this formulation is no longer available? We thought that a few years ago the FDA mandated that the level of Acetaminophen be reduced ## Yes, it was mandated that the amount of Acetaminophen in combination prescription medications be lowered to no more than 325mgs per dose, the FDA put this regulation in place a few years ago. But with just the 300mgs, the only one currently listed as still being available is 10/300mg. However, there is a 7.5/325mg dosage available. I had that happen a couple months ago, when my doctor prescribed it. I had to wait for the pharmacy to reach her and authorize the 325mg dosage, before I could pick up my prescription. This medication is classified as a narcotic analgesic, so it carries t...

Hi, I was having inconsistent relief with the tabs and my doc switched me to the syrup. The syrup works, but not very long and I've now developed heartburn. Anyone else have that issue? I'd love to hear some stories about heartburn relief ideas or new pain meds that have been developed recently to combat the pain with minor side effects.I'm not afraid of a little pain if it leads to a lot of gain. Thanks munch. ## There are many other options available for pain relief, such as Percocet, Opana, Dilaudid, Roxicodone, so those are all options you could ask your doctor about trying. The FDA classifies them all as narcotic analgesics, so they carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation. Can I take a half of hydrocodone acetaminophen 10/325 because I already had 4 extra strength tylenals today? ## Hello, Jessica! How are you? Yes, they can be cut in half, they are not time released. Just be careful not to exceed 3,000mgs of Acetaminophen a day, unless your doctor instructs otherwise and no more than 1,000mgs every 8 hours. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

I ordered what I hope is Hydrocodone from Meds-easy. They came in a zip bag, white, round, scored one one side, and no imprint. I took half of one pill, waiting to see what happens. Has anyone seen a pill like this, the packages usually come from India, but this came from Pakistan. I am worried that it could be something really bad. So far, this site hasn't let me down. But it took an extra month to get these meds. ## If there are no markings on it, then it is going to be difficult to determine exactly what you received. Where they supposed to be just Hydrocodone or the generic for Vicodin, which contains Hydrocodone and Acetaminophen? Is anyone else familiar with these tablets? Is there a manufacturer name on the packaging, or anything? ## NEVER take ANY pill that has no markings a...

My prescription has always had the label, Watson on one side the other 3202 white oval tablet. This month my refill is different, white oval tablet with #2172 on one side. They told me they're from a different manufacturer, and they seem to not help as much. Is this a weaker brand, was told possibly a (placebo) can you advise me ? Thank you. ## Hello, David! How are you? Has there been any change? It is not a placebo, but there have been many complaints about it lacking efficacy. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. You may need to consult your doctor about taking an alternative medication, for awhile, until you can find a ...

what is hydrocodoneI8 ## I've heard of Hydrocodone, but not of Hydrocodonei8 - where did you see this? Or is i8 the imprint on a pill you have? ## The pill is oval in shape, white no score mark, and has the imprint of I8 on it. I was told it is hydrocodone. When i searched it out it siad it looks out on the medical it said it remsembles a M360 Hydro ## Would you happen to know what country this medication was obtained from? If it is from the United States, then the predominant possibility is that it is actually an Ibuprofen 800 mg. Another similar marking is IB (instead of an 8), and that's a 200 mg Ibuprofen. Are there any other details which can be included? ## if the I8 is really IB except for the use of my magnifier it is an I8, not B. what is the imprint I9?

Hello, I have had my wisdom teeth pulled out seven days ago and was given a hydrocodone acetaminophen prescription along with the antibiotics and ibuprofen. It says on the hydrocodone pill bottle that I need to take 1-2 pills every six hours for pain. Well, being the i**** that I am, I take one whenever the pain hits me and the time intervals are greater than six. I woke up at two in the morning with pain, so I went to take a pill and then slept again. It is now seven in the morning, about five hours after taking the medicine, and my lungs are burning. I am terrified. I read on the bottle that side effects include trouble breathing and decided to deal with the pain rather than take the medication again. Or it could be something else and I am just making a big deal out of it? (I hope so!...

This is like a mom and pop very small town pharacy and i basically just want toake sure there not making these themselves or something. Pharmacy says other same as my yellow norcos just diffrent supplier ## Hello, Davod! How are you? No, they aren't making these themselves. They are legitimate and FDA approved, they are manufactured by Aurolife Pharma LLC. They contain 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. This is a narcotic ...
