How are you? The tablet with the 2065 V marking contains 300mgs of Acetaminophen and 60mgs of Codeine. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Codeine is actually a pretty weak opiate, so 60mgs of it is only equal to 9mgs of Hydrocodone. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I have a pill with a2065 v one side and a #4 on the other side. What is that equal to in a vicadin or percocet
My wife as an allergic type react when codone or hydrocodne or any drug with codone in it. She starts itching and gets jittery and said she can't stand her on skin. Saying all of this she has a very deep congested cough and sometimes it's uncontrollable. Our MD said that he is very very limited in what he can give her for this condition. Does anyone have any suggestions? Please help. PapaT ## How is she with regular decongestants? Has her doctor had her try any of them, something that would help remove the congestion that is causing the problem, since they Hydrocodone really only suppresses the coughing. ## She can take a small dose of regular decongestants at a time. ## I allergic to sulfa. I'm a nurse and see.there is a sjlfa.molecule attatched to the compound. Just a head...
I am new to butran patch. I have heard that it May take a couple of days for the patch to become effective....is it ok to take my loratab 10mg 2 tabs every 6 hrs the first day? ## Hello, Gaye! How are you? There is no reason it should take so long for the patch to start working, it should only take a short time for the medication to start being absorbed and alleviating your pain. Learn more Butrans details here. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. And you shouldn't take any other narcotic medications, unless your doctor says that it is safe for you to do so. Are there any other questions or concerns? ## I would think so, but my pain doc gives me Percoc...
I was taking 5-6 10/325 percocet a day and my new dr gave me 90 1 3xs a day but I'm having trouble so was taking a percocet then 4 hrs later a norco and alternating like that today. Is it safe to take a percocet then a norco until the withdrawal gets better? ## Hello, Sherryl! How are you? The main concern here is the amount of Acetaminophen you are ingesting each day, more than the opiates, as hard as that may be to believe. In theory, you should still be within limits, which the FDA lists as being 3,000mgs a day, but it is always best to extra careful and not do this, unless your doctor approves. What type of withdrawal symptoms are you experiencing? The NIH lists them as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, fever, chills, rebound pain, anxiety, depression, and diarrhea.
massive headaches and vomiting... This occurs with Vicodin, Oxycodone, Norco etc. I was told that they all are derivatives from codeine with other ingredients mixed in so they all have this effect.. What else can I use for pain control? ## Hello, Orlena! How are you? Those can be normal side effects of this medication, according to the FDA, you may also experience dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth, and constipation. Thus, that is a risk for virtually anything you try that is an opiate. Have you tried making sure that you don't take it on an empty stomach?
I took a 1/4th of 8/2mg suboxone this morning, then in the afternoon, then at 5. I get my hydrocodone 10mg tomorrow. will they do me any good. It was my first time taking suboxone and i have a really fast metabolism. I am wondering will I be able to feel my pain killers tomorrow? ## @stageman, Because everyone is different this is only intended to be an estimate...but according to other related threads on here, I've drawn the opinion that you may want to wait a good 48 hours before taking other narcotics such as hydrocodone. However there are a variety of factors/questions that come into play which could also determine how long you should wait, including but not limited to: How long you've been on suboxone? What dose you've been taking regularly? Was this a one time thing? D...
What to do for severe stomach upset from prednizone 10mg. Just started it4days ago I also am taking hydrocodone 5 325 ## Hello, Cathy! How are you? Have you tried taking it with food? That can sometimes help minimize the nausea, according to the NIH. Other side effects may include dizziness, headache, acne, and insomnia. If it doesn't help, you may need to ask your doctor about what you can take to help with it. How long will you be taking it? ## Almost a week. Have epstein barr and a real hard time of it today
TussiCap is a brand new medication in capsule form. It has 10 mg of Hydrocodone and 8 mg of a drug I'm not familiar with. The drug without inurance in $600.00!!!!! I got it for 25 bucks ## Wow! I'm very glad that the coupon saved you so much money, that's a crazy price. The other ingredient is the antihistamine Chlorpheniramine. The FDA lists the possible side effects to this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, drowsiness and constipation. It also carries the risk of being habit forming. Is there anything I can help with? ## I have insurance and my doctor wrote me a prescription for Tussi caps. I also gave the pharmacist a discount card so my co-pay would be $25. When I went to pick it up she told me it would be $2000 for 20 pills. So therefore I c...
I also have taken this med for years, I am out of town and got my meds filled at a pharmacy where we are visiting, never have heard of aurobindo, noticing right away dizziness and being overly tierd, all my disabilities hurt like I haven't taken anything, this really sucks. When I return home I will request to my doctor to replace these for me and surrender these, go through this the rest of the month??? No thanks, can't function like this at all. I am VERY thankfull you were here to support the fact it's not just me going through this. Shameful really. ## Unfortunately yes, many people have been complaining about this product from Aurobindo. Not all, but a large number of people have had issues with it. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit form...
I am needing help finding a pain management physician in Nashville. My present pain clinic is no longer going to take my insurance. Hoping to find someone who won't be so conservative. I have a failed back surgery, sciatica and piriformis syndrome. I have been on hydrocodone for over 3 years and 4 a day is the highest I've been prescribed. I also take MS Contin 30mg twice a day and MS Contin 15mg mid afternoon. Nothing is really helping like it used to. It seems the clinic I've gone to doesn't do much stronger meds. There has to be a physician who will realize that my pain has worsened over the years and my body is used to what I've been taking. I just need good pain management so that I can continue to work. I am a nurse who struggles many days due to the job being so
UpdatedThis drug is reportedly available at Oakwood hospital in Dearborn, Michigan off of Oakwood blvd. ## I have been getting my pain medications there for a year because I have a catastrophic illness that just requires maintenance to keep me comfortable. I was there picking up my medications couple weeks ago and I get a note stapled to one of my bags that says they will not fill my pain medication any more. This was after they had me transfer every medication that I take per month which is 10 of them from a pharmacy that is by my house. Oakwood pharmacy is an hour and 15 minute drive. I haven't decided how to go about speaking to them and asking them why they will no longer feel them because they would not give me an answer. If anybody has any suggestions please let me know.
I take them For my pian for my lower back it has obia in the medication its hydrochlodone ## Hello, Anna! How are you? Did you mean Hydrocodone? It is classified by the FDA as a narcotic analgesic, so it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation.
I have 2 different hydrocodone pills. The first one is hydrocodone/acetaminophen 5/325 mg & stamped M365 & was given for a hysterectomy. The 2nd bottle is hydrocodone/APAP 5/325 mg & stamped 360+ & was given for surgery, where they removed a kidney due to a benign mass. This pill has red specs on it. Wondering what, if any, difference there is. I called the pharmacy & they assured me that it was just a different manufacturer. Could you please clarify it for me? Thank you! ## Hello, Terry! How are you? Your pharmacy was correct, and to be more precise the one with the 360 on it actually contains a higher amount of Hydrocodone, the manufacturer Mallinckrodt lists it as containing 7.5mgs of it, coupled with the 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA warns that this medication...
I am allergic to morphine, Demerol and codeine. I itched all over my head and ears when taking a hydrocodone/acetemetephine yesterday. Am I allergic to hydro now? ## Hello, Carol! How are you doing? Has there been any change? It is common for someone that's allergic to one medication to discover the are also allergic to others, according to reports by the FDA. Thus, it would be best to have this checked out, those could be symptoms of an allergic reaction, and if they are, they could get worse with repeated exposure, according to NIH studies. Is there anything else I can help with?
What u guy's mean it makes u feel like a zombie because i just got a my RX from Walgreens and i have something with a 2172 and i normally get 3202 and i'm afraid to take these. Please help me ## Hi Sunnie, Since everyone responds to medication differently, there's no real way of knowing ahead of time if you're going to have a similar reaction or even no side effects at all. Because the outcome isn't set in stone, I would probably suggest taking other opinions lightly until you have a chance to try it for yourself at least once. If it's of any help though, here are a couple other active discussion threads on the 2172 pill: Discuss/hydrocodone-2172-306266.htm Discuss/pain-pill-2172-norco-305949.htm Hope this helps. ## I too have been on the Watson 5-325 with red sp...
I've been on 7.5/325, I was using Walgreens Pharmacy to get my script filled. However, I have noticed that the "Watson Brand" ---- of hydrocodone (Walgreens carries) is not strong at all.. After doing research-- discovered Watson was purchased by Actavis--- and since have changed their formulation in all "hydrocodone". I called Watson/Actavis----to report the pills are NOT strong.. They have been getting a lot of complaints! So, if you want Watson/Actavis to go back to the "old formulation" call them and complain---- see it they change it back this year! ## Please take your formulation back to where they were ## @cocomotes, Once you accept your prescription, pharmacy policies don't allow you to take it back for an exchange (especially if it's been ope...
I have 2 problems at L 3 & 4 & can't see the spinal surgeon until 31 Oct. My primary physician gave me the Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen for pain & sleep. Instead of sleep I am totally wired. I haven't had one second of sleep in the last 4 nights. ## Hello, Dee! How are you? Yes, it can cause that in some people that take it, though it isn't common, the FDA does list it as being possible. Other side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, and dry mouth. This medication also carries the risk of being habit forming. Have you informed your doctor? You may need to try a different medication.
Is the government making hydrocodon-acetaminophen available only to patients with certian condition? ## Not that I'm aware of, but it has been restricted further by the DEA. It was changed to a schedule 2 medication in 2014/early 2015. Additional DEA directives were issued advising doctors of what they deemed to be appropriate limits for people not suffering from intractable pain due to a possibly fatal illness. In turn, this has caused some doctors to stop prescribing it, as well as other narcotics. The FDA has found it to be very commonly abused, plus it has habit forming potential for virtually anyone that takes it. Has anyone else heard something about this?
How soon after taking hydrocodone 10/325 can I take tylenol #3. My doctor is switching me to the tylenol # 3 and I read "do not take tylenol #3 if you have 'recently" taken another narcotic medication," but it didn't state the meaning of 'recently." ## Hello, Najnaj! How are you? Unless your doctor, or pharmacist instructs otherwise, it is usually intended for you to stop the one medication and start taking the new one at the schedule dosing time. In other words, it usually not necessary to wait days, just the regular amount of time that you would take another one. The FDA classifies Tylenol 3 as a narcotic analgesic, so it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Is ...
I am prescribed Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen 7.5-325, but was prescribed Morphine 30mg ER & Fentanyl patches... the Hydro doesn't work & I still have some Morphine left & a lot of patches left... I'm wondering, when they do a urine test, will they be able to see the Morphine? I know that the Fentanyl shows up differently. How long prior to my appointment must I stop the Fentanyl in order for it NOT to show up? It's strange, cuz on my Pain management doctor's list, he still has the Fentanyl listed!! Even though I weaned (stupid me) myself off of it six months ago and told him to stop it!!
