Anybody know of pharmacies in the Los Angeles area that carries the Qualitest Hydrocodone 10-325. My pharmacy switched to another brand. As I have tried them all (back surgery) Qualitest works best for me. Thanks. ## Hi Jay here still looking. Qualitest is by far the most effective medication in it's class in my opinion. I have been taking 3 ibuprofen for jaw pain after having roots extracted for future implants. The dr had prescribed hydrocodone/acetaminophen 5-325, but I don't like the way it makes me feel. I was trying to cut back on pain meds after 4 days, so I took 2 of the ibuprofen instead of 3. It isn't helping, so can I add 1/2 of a hydrocodone pill or would it be better to take a 3rd ibuprofen pill? ## Scottie, If the hydrocodone was causing undesirable side effects taking an additional Ibuprophen would certainly not hurt. You may wish to take it with milk or something to coat your stomach .so long as you don't exceed the daily max.dose of any NSAID you will be fine.Hope you feel better soon,Kenie.

i am between pain drs and will be out of hydrocodone 10/325mg which i take 8+/day (prescribed that way up to 16- 1 to 2 8x/day.) i need one today!! it's a friday & ive called so many since wednesday knowing i'd be out during the weekend sometime. monday being a holiday im not sure if any will be open. can anyone direct me to a good PCP who will help short term until my pain dr sees me the 31st? located in NWA (AR). ## Only an ER DR will do it. Why did Hydrocodone/Acet 10/375 increase 600% since last year? I have been taking the medication for over 13 years after a 6 doctor team labored for months com up with something that would relieve my lifelong pain from a 2-story fall. I have been paying $6.00 /mo for 270 tablets, until this year. I went to pick up my refill an it was $35. Insurance moved it from Tier 2 to Tier 3 with no explanation. I have chronic pain and take 7.5/500 the usually takes 1-1.5 hours to work ## @Chris, This greatly depends on the person taking the medication. Some people start to feel relief in 20 minutes and some people do not feel it until 2 hours have passed. There are many factors at work here. It can also depend on whether or not you have taken the medication before, how much you have taken before, whether you took them on an empty stomach or not, what your personal metabolism is, if there were other medications taken with it or recently, etc. I think the "average" time is given as 30 minutes to one hour for it to kick in. However if your pain is really that severe, I wonder if the medication's effects would eventually reach a plateau due to an increased tolerance. I'd also take ...

Is the yellow dye in the Qualitest hydrocodone tablets tartrazine, aka FD & C yellow # 5? Many people, myself included, are highly sensitive to this dye. Lots of manufacturers still use it, for unknown reasons. But some have switched to an iron compound for the yellow color (who needs it?!). What is a white oblong pill with A333 on it? It is supposed to be a Percocet but feels more like a Hydrocodone to me. ## I agree. It feels like a hydrocodone to me too. It doesn't work nearly as well as the generic Watson 932 I have been taking for pain. ## The pill marked "A333" is in fact listed as generic Percocet (10/325), but I think many others would agree with you that its effects aren't quite up to par with what you would normally expect from this medication. Hi all! A little info of my history: I've been a Hydrocodone user for over a year. A typical daily dose would be 18-20 10mg Norco. I've decided to go cold turkey. On Monday @ 8:30 am I took ONE 8mg Suboxone to hold my withdrawals off while I got things situated before l start WDing. It's been 50 hours since my ONE dose of Suboxone and I still haven't felt any WD's. So my question to you all is in your opinion when shall I anticipate my WD symptoms? ## How did this go for you? I've been taking 5/325mg. of hydrocodone just as needed due to severe arthritis . Take only 1 tablet per/day at the most. Skip those days when my pain is manageable up to 3 days without. Been having what seems to resemble side effects, such as headaches, body aches, high blood pressure, extreme agitation, and cold sweats w/chills. I'm worried whether or not I should just take the 1 p/day just to play it safe? i take oxycodone 10/325 3x day, oxy 12 extended 2x day, and a few other meds. I hate so many meds. Pain is still in effect some days better , or worse. My question is how harmful are these to my body? Diluadid works better with less to take. honest which is worse? I have had a fever ranging from 100.5 to 102.0 for just over 24 hours. Fever went away and felt great all day today. But came back this evening. My body aches so bad and cannot get comfortable or fall asleep! I took a hydrocodone 5/325 an hour ago and my temp is still up. Is it OK to take a 500mg naproxen? I NEED SLEEP! ## They can be taken together, as long as your doctor approves. Some people do take both, or alternate them to get better control of pain, or fevers. I was given these in a clinic in Vancouver B.C. I just got my refill today and they are not working as well as my previous prescription. ## Hi Yaya, My research from the manufacturer depicts a white oval tablet marked with 2172 to be identified as a generic Hydrocodone Bitartrate 5mg + Acetaminophen 325mg pill. For verification, it carries a National Drug Code of 0591-2172 and is reportedly a product of Actavis Pharmaceuticals that from what I could gather, seems like a newer generic tablet since information about it is relatively sparse on the internet.
