Just started using hydrocodone apap tab5mg-325. This first dose I took is 2 pills at 12 noon. The bottle instructions say you can take 1 to 2 tablets every 4 to 6 hours. It is now 3:15 pm and it feels like the hydro pills, made by Amneal are just about finished. The pills I have been taking prior to this are oxycodone, Mallinckrodt, acetaminophen 5-325 and I take 1 pill every 6 hours. This is OXY condone, NOT HYDRO codone made by Amneal. Are they different strengths? The HYDRO seems weaker. Whats the difference between the two? And should they be interchangeable? ## It does require 7.5mgs of the Hydrocodone to be equal to the 5mg Oxycodone you were taking, because the Oxycodone is stronger. Can I take Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen 5-325 TB before a colonoscopy? I am told to not take NSAIDs two weeks before my test. Need info asap. I have a test tomorrow and I have to have hydrocodone in my system. I have 2 hernatied disc, spinal stenosis , pain all over my body and recently moved here from Florida where I was taking 10mg hydrocodone for about 2 years with no problems and never asked for it to be increased . Now that I'm in charlotte there is so much nonsense about the drug abuser and I'm starting to feel depression from this pain. I have taken hydrocodone 10 mg for several years, and sometimes get jittery..sort of like speedy..and uncomfortable. I noticed the other day that I have two different sizes of pills (from a different pharmacy last month). Is it possible that one manufacturer has an ingredient different from another? In short, I was on hydrocodone for chronic leg pain 4 years ago. Very low dose, 5 mg 4 times a day. I spent the day in the woods with my family, woke up the next day swollen head to toe worse than I've ever seen. I couldn't even see my eyelashes when I closed my eyes. I was nauseated, dizzy, cloudy headed, and my kidneys were not functioning properly. I was a nurse so I knew right a way it was my adrenal glands. Anyway, my adrenal glands completely failed that day and never came back. Since that very day opiates stopped working as well. Doesn't matter what I take or the amount. I take hydrocodone 7.5 325 for pain from degenerated disks in spine and I take celebrex 200 for arthritis pain and inflamation, is there any problem with this? I have a friend who has been taking anywhere from 4-6 Norco 10 325mg a day at times she can't sleep due to her pain that gets so excruciating. She takes10-12 in 24hr. for chronic pain, an has been taking them for the last 10yrs. Today I watched her take 7 of them at once, she was in severe pain. Should I be concerned that she may have over dosed herself? Or will she be fine if I go home for the night? ## That is far too many for her to be taking, at once. It is very dangerous to exceed over 1.000mgs of Acetaminophen in any 8 hour period, and no one should take more than 3,000mgs in any 24 hour period, according to FDA directives. I am recovering from surgery and I have found that the little solid white hydrocodone 5/325's make my skin itch and burn horribly and also make me feel wired like I had 5 pots of coffee. The brands with the little red or blue specks, as well as the ones with the peach color (Norco I believe) do not have any of these side effects for me. I have been on 10/325 for three years. I have been compliant in every way with my pain and wellness doctor. I suffer with severe RA. I go every three months for RX and follow up. I went in today and my physician point blank said i was negative for my hydrocodone, i can take up to five in 24 hours. I was in shock and she was absolutely rude. I am honest and have never ever been concerned about a urine test. So i was in shock. Enantyum is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that is used to treat pain, fever, and swelling. I know this pill is hydrocodone. What I'm trying to find is the milligram. It has an m566 on it and the other side is blank. ## @Jsnet, The oval white pill in question is actually combination of Acetaminophen (325mg) + Hydrocodone bitartrate (7.5 mg).
