Hydrocodone Instead Of Tylenol 3 For Pain

I have a raging toothache. I took one Tylenol 3 at 5:30. I found some Hydrocodone from when I had a stroke. Can I take the Hydrocodone instead? Tylenol 3 did nothing for it, and I'm in severe pain.

The Codeine in Tylenol 3 is very mild and doesn't help everyone with pain. Hydrocodone is stronger, but you shouldn't take it, unless your doctor or dentist instructs you to do so.

The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation.
