There is actually no way to accurately compare these two medications, since Ibuprofen is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory and the Hydrocodone is an opiate narcotic that's coupled with Acetaminophen (aka Tylenol).
The FDA warns that Hydrocodone carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation.
