It actually lowers blood pressure by expelling water from the body

i have stared taking blood pressure medicine hydrlchlorot 25 mg and i am having ower back pain and hip pain and cannot sleep for coughing and have dry throat and tickle in it and cough. is this normal and should i quit taking it.

I also have a dry cough from the same medicine, however, my upper back hurts and it makes it hard for me to sleep as well. I try to keep an eye on my blood pressure. I am now exercising so that I can drop my weight and get off this medicine.

Between 33-35yrs old, I began to get ill with dry sweats, fevers & steamy/cooking skin(could smell my skin sometimes it was so hot.) Anyways, I was put on HCTZ & could take a sip of drink & be running all day. I too(now) am dealing with lower back, thighs & knees pain & can hardly sleep all night. However, I wasn't sure which of my meds(if any) were to blame do to the fact that I've also been on Amlodipne 5mg for my pressure for about 2 1/2 yrs. *Baffled*
