Humira Emotional Side Effects

My boyfriend is on Humira and has just had his second jab, the instant he took it he has been a different person. The kind, gentle, sweet man I knew seems to be gone. He's constantly angry, he has no desire for me in any way, he's emotionally distant. In a rare normal moment he told me he feels empty, unmotivated and angry and hates himself because of it. What can I do? I hate seeing him like this. What can we do?

It's been 10 years since I'm taking Humira. I am 26 years old girl, full of anger, anxiety and emptiness inside... I don't know of this is because of Humira. I'm feeling lost as well

I agree I only just started it Friday and it's only Monday and I feel angry, mad mood swings, irritably, just wanna be left alone, I yelled at my 43 yr old son for a lil thing, my head and ears ring real loudly I don't wanna deal with anybody

I just started humira Friday it's only Monday and I feel anxious mad all the time ,angry, irritable all weekend I see my doc TMR and I'm calling humira TMR they need to know that this a real side effect everyone is different

I don't know but they need to I've only been on it since Friday and it's Monday and I'm angry, irritable, very anxious, can't relax, mood swings , feel mad all the time all weekend I went thru this bigtime I see my primary doctor tmr and I'm calling humira tmr

That's me and I have only been on since Friday and it's only Monday I have felt angry and mad all weekend,and very anxious, irritable, even certain sounds bother me, loud ringing in my ears as well, I have racing thoughts which is worse to where takes me a bit to go to sleep, I'm already in an antidepressant and my symptoms feel way,way worsened , I've yelled at my 43 yr old son over something silly we been getting along fine lately, mood swings big time again and way worse

I agree, I've only been using since Friday, it's only Monday I'm angry , irritable way more than normal,I don't feel myself,I yelled at my 43 yr old son over something lil ,been cranky and just angry for no reason all weekend I see my doctor tmr and I'm calling humira to. Make the aware of my effects more ppl need to call them it effects emotions and the mental state of mind,

That's me I just started Friday and it's only Monday and I feel angry, don't wanna be around anyone,feel very anxious and irritable and lil things piss me off and sounds bother me too certain noises and loud ringing in my ears , I don't feel the same I see my primary doc TMR and I'm calling humira to tell them ppl need to make humira aware of this ,it's not in there anywhere in the paperwork,

Yes it does I only started Friday it's Monday and I feel angry, anxious and irritable, lil things are so annoying even sounds bother me, I'm jumpy and it's only Monday,oh loud ringing in my ears as well

I use cannibis for my issues ,it's legal in oregon and it helps bigtime, I just started humira Friday and having anger issues, anxiety pretty bad, no motivation just not feeling my self, I use bud and edibles now

Me too , I feel upset alot, no motivation, anxious, and down i see my doc TMR and I'm calling humira more ppl need to call and tell them there's too many ppl feeling the same way for it to be a coincidence

Wow and I just started it Friday and have all same feelings anger, feeling bigtime anxious,I shake a lil, I don't feel.good ,my arthritis feels worse, I'm talking to my primary doc TMR and I'm calling humira TMR someone needs to tell them I've read a lot of ppl on here having same experience and they need to know I'm calling them TMR

I've only been on humira since Friday ,today is mon didy first dose 80 mg and I have felt anxious, irritable, angry, mad, and loud ringing in my ears, I yelled at my 43 yr old son twice this weekend and we been getting along good lately,

I agree I am Darlene and I just started my humiara Friday ,it's Monday and I've been really angry and every lil thing bothers me ,my head rings loud, this needs to be put in the effects not sure why it hasn't as there sure is a lot of ppl with the exact same effects after using the same medication, the. Empty angry feeling, I get annoyed easily and, sounds even bother me, and I have out burst too, I yelled at my 43 yr old ,twice this weekend, like I felt soooo angry, and emotional, and I felt fine before this med we been getting along good ,so it's this med, something needs to be done about it this is wrong for ppl to not expect this and it hits them out of no where and I just used my first does Friday, I feel real anxious, and it effects my heart rythm I see my primary doc TMR and I'm bringing it up to him tmr I'm gonna call the company to and tell them more ppl should call humiara and make them aware of this

I’m glad it works for you. But from experience it does have adverse side affects I’ve been monitoring it for 15 years. It does affect your psychological thinking eventually. Just be very careful. It is never normal to inject tNF blockers it to your body. Or any injections in to your body. For every action there is a reaction. Good luck and good health to you.

Thank you very much. After stopping Humira, he was much better. After stopping Humira, after 6 month he begins with Lustral antidepresant and after 3 month he is now better. But we dont know how long he must use this antidepressant. What will happen when he stopped it. We will aee and I want to write it to all persons. Humira compony must see, what bad side effects like persenality change could happen. The company and rhomatholog docters must slso learn about this medicine. It should be known by all patients. I hope it will not suffer of this side effect. After using antidepressant after stopping humira it take 3 month for a better mood. But we dont know , what will happen after stopping humira.

Dont use it, my son used it for 4 years and was another person, angry..agressice… now he stopted humira and used an antidepressant . Niw he is better. It was a tertible time. This medicine is realy bad experience. Dont use it.

My partner was on Humira for 4 months. He has been off it now for 1 year and 9 months and is still not back to his old self. Arzu, I wanted to reply because I can hear the desperation in your messages and have been in your shoes - scouring the forums looking for a story that might help. My partner has gradually been improving but it has been hard work. He has done everything:- diet, sleep, exercise, cold water swimming, chiropractor, acupuncture, osteopath… From where he was when the side effects were at their worst (terrible) he is much improved, but it has been really hard going. I would not wish this on anyone. We have just had him seen by a clinic that has practitioners trained in the Walsh Protocol. He is having the tests done at the moment. The lady he is seeing has personally treated 20 patients with these side effects caused by biologics. She said 5 of them were lost to follow up (ie.they stopped coming so she doesn’t know what happened to them) and the other 15 saw very good improvement - although 3/4 of them she was seeing for over a year. I am hopeful she will be able to help my partner. The hardest part has been the hospital - they are adamant the drugs cannot be causing side effects that have lasted so long, but they are wrong - as you have also seen from so many other people’s posts. I really hope for you that your son improves and you get him back. I wanted to share our story so far in case it helps you at all.
