Im Marina Im 24 years old and a mother of 2 beautiul little boys. From the years 2006-2007 i was heavily addicted to Oxy 80 and eventually started doing herion. I got help in sep.2007 at a methadone clinic, it worked for as long as i was on the methadone i had NO relapse's. In June 2009 i was completly off of the methadone that first day that i was on 0Mgs I went through extreme withdrawls i went through things that i would never wish upon my worst enemy! i stayed that way for a day and a half and decided to go to a suboxone doctor. He put me on 32 mgs a day which i thought was pretty high of a dose but he explained to me that methadone withdrawls was worst then any other withdrawls. so i trusted him. Now when i go to see him every month i pretty much beg for him to start the weining process and start lowering me and he pretty much refuses. After months of being on 32mgs a day he finally started tapering me down slowly, i never really thought any thing of it till now but i realized he's keeping me on the suboxne for as long as posible so that he can get my $200.00 a month. all he is, is a legal drug dealer bc now im highly addicted to the suboxone. I recently had to go a few days with out my suboxone bc i didnt have the money to see him and i went through hell. i thought methadone withdrawl was bad OMG there is no comparison. i wanted to either use which i havent done in years or rip my face off lol its funny now but it definatley wasnt funny a few days ago while i was feeling that way! So i spoke to a good friend whos going through the same thing and he told me that they just came out with a new pill to get you off suboxone. I just want to know if that's true. I tryed googleing it but i cant find any thing. If you have heard of this new pill please respond or if you even have a good way to get off soboxone as painless and posible... thanx

I can,t cut these 8mg strips accurate.

Hi Emma,
Thats fantastic your down to .25mg/day!
Are you gonna stay at that dose or are you planning on jumping off soon?
Be sure your body feels like its gotten used to .25 dose before you jump off.
For me it would take at least a week for my body to get used to any drop below 2mgs.
My old sub dr. said "the slower and lower you taper the milder the wds. will be"
I relasped since I had that sub dr.
I,ve been on sub twice. The first sub dr. didn,t have any openings the second time I tried to get straight so I went to another dr.
My insurance ran out and I just can,t afford it.
I,ve been tapering myself. I,m down to .5mg.
I,m getting older and I,m so tired of living like this.
Hang in there and don,t be a stranger.

You.wernt born addicted im prof the only way to.stop.is to know this is your 1life to live do u want to live this way
You can stop.and deal with it for a bit
Its like.traden 2weeks of your life for the rest of a good life well drug free anyway i hope everyone gets off

Jolter, thanks for that info, I know it was intended for me, but I sure can use it. I'm down to .25 mg a day. I want off of this so bad. I wish I wouldn't of started it.

Hi Teairu,
Drop 1mg per week until your at 1mg.
At the end of week of 1mg drop to .5mg for week.
Drop to .25mg for week.
You may feel a little uncomfortable when you get below 2mg but thats normal.
I did this taper under a sub drs. orders. It was his plan, it wasn,t something I came up with.
He also made it clear that if I felt really uncomfortable at the end of a weekly drop to stay at that level until I my body adjusted to that dose and I felt comfortable, then drop dose.
The big thing with suboxone when it comes time to come off it is to come off as slow as you can and get to as low a dose as you can.
It helps to mark it all off on a calander.

Yes, I would be interested in how you sped up the detox process - getting off suboxone. I've been on it for more than 3 years now and believe it's leading to depression.

Hello my name is aj i been off of everything for 10 days now i feel good not.great but def feel the hope now subs are dirty lies but like all the other drugs thats out i remember one day i woke up.free im.gona get there and yes legal.drug dealers is What it is funny your right about keepn u on for the money they.dont care u can get off and u.will 2 broken laws Here 1 is.dope dealn docs and 2 a beautiful.woman n mentel pain Remember the time u.never had to pay to.feel norm.its still here and never left NEVER NEVER TAKE ANOTHER DRUG TO LEAVE ANOTHER SLAP THE F*** WHO SAID THERE IS. Well I'm in route for my big move this minute... On the road now.... I have my subs intow.... Tomorrow starts the tappering... I'm hoping not to get in to late this evening because I don't have my supplements yet... I'm scared to tapper without the supplements.... Im not making excuses... Well maybe a little... I just want all the help for my body that I can get, whatever can maket his tappering the easiest it can possibly be... My sister is sacred because she got offered a really good job and will be tappering with me .... She has a drug check next month... Will the suboxone be out of her system.... How long after her last dose of sub until she is ready??? She is so excited for this opportunity, we both are Shocked it happened so early... So things are already looking up for her.. ??. Hoping she will able to pass... We aren't for sure of the exact date, we just know it's next month.... We both want a new start from cold cold snowy ohio!!!!!! Well time to stop for gas.... I have about 3 hours to go and we will be at our new destination..... Excited and scared all in one .... Thanks for your time..... Take care

Hi slsmakingit,
Your not the first person to mention odors wnen coming off subs. I don,t know why there so strong at this time. It should start to go away as your wds go away.
Everyone is different. Each day you should start feeling better for a little longer that day. I don,t know if that makes sence.
Remember to move around. It helps the endorphines heal in your brain or some crap like that.
All I know is that it will make you feel better faster.
Believe it or not, one of these days this is all gonna be behind you.
It,s tough right now but your doing great!

Robyn i had terrible experience with neurontin it put me in severe depression and suicidal thoughts that was years ago they prescribed it to me for nerve pain i was a basket case for about a week my parent's almost had me admitted and i had lyrica that made me a walking zombie thst was when i first started having the back problems thats how i started taking the pain meds

Today is day 8 and its kind like you said jolter i feel like hell for a few days and then ill feel somr better and then back to feeling like hell so i guess im getting better i know everyone is different but about how long does this go on for its really getting to me and working on my nerves. I hope its not too long. Still hanging in there for now and also when you did this did it make your sense of taste and smell intensified everything i smell is so strong and everything i taste is wow they are both making me nauseous. Thanks for the info and advice. Im still hanging in there

hey trina i feel your pain sweetie....it sucks even worse when u have to hide it from your husband or other loved ones. I didnt tell my wife for a long time (bout 2.5 years) that i was on Subs. I didnt care really if she knew that i was on Subs but i really was trying to hide the reason WHY i was on Subs. But honestly thats your husband....if he loves u and cares about u (which im sure he does) then he will stick by u 100% NO MATTER WHAT!! Dont get me wrong im not telling you to tell him im just saying from my own experience how it went for me. and honestly, an 8mg Sub strip could really last you about 2 weeks if you cut them small enough. I prefer cutting 2mg films small because even if you but an 8mg film very tiny, youll still be taking at least .5mg which i would suggest trying to drop lower than that mg before u stop.....Trina if you would like you can email me at {edited for privacy}...ill try and help you out best i can for sure!!

Today is day 8 sub free for you if I,m fiquiring correctly. It,s hard and a lot of work but it,s really worth it. Keep it up. Your doing great!! I might have mentioned before about taking a walk. It really helps. Even for 15 minutes. It,s freezing out so dress accordingly.
I,ve read before abut vitaminB and SamE and L-Tyrosine helping with wds.
You can find them at Wallmarts or a place like that.
Keep posting, it may help also.

Wow I had so many typos in that message I hope u can figure everything out what I was saying.... The other thing that I haven't disclosed is my husband does not know anything about me being on subs... So I won't be able to get a doctor down there.. It's all on me once I get down there.. I'm so ashamed I'm on subs, it would break his heart! I've been threw w/d from lorcets about 6 years ago and he was there every step of the way.. I only had 2 sub pills at that time to help with the w/d ... But I had no clue how to take the subs at that time at all!!! So I went thru hell! I stayed clean for over a year. Then I went out with a group of girls and someone had an oc I thought heck I haven't been on any for so long it wouldn't hurt me.. Anyway that one oc pill led to me being on them for about 4 months.. So I stopped playing around with the oc's or any other pain pill period... But I immediately grab some subs because I didn't want to be sick!!! But I keep taking them not thinking I would be addicted to subs, how stupid was that!!!! I just didn't want to be sick!!! But in the long run I was doing myself more harm and not knowing it!!!!! I am so upset at myself I'm disappointed,
I'm ashamed I'm disgusted... I'm just angry at myself!!! How could I let this happen again!!!! So yes this all has to be in secret in Alabama..... Once I get off of the subs that is it!!!!! I am done. Never again will I touch it!!!! The money that I have spent makes me sick I could have nice things!!!! So thank you again and again and again, for taking the time out to write me back!!!!!!! I'm in tears right now that u saw my post thank you

Bless u bless u!!!!! I'm suppose to head to Alabama no later then Saturday!!! Should already be there, but I hung around to see if I could get a few more subs! I'm so scared cuz this is it! Once I'm done there, that's all she wrote! I'm dunso! I can't believe I waited an extra couple of days just to make sure I could get ahold of some more subs.. I know have 30 sub strips all together and the few sub pills.... Hoping that will be enough for 2 ppl! Crossing fingers!!! I've never been so scared in my life!!! Thank u soooo for the tips, I deeply deeply I appreciate it!!!! I will definitely get the supplements!!! I'm absolutely overjoyed that someone really got back to me.... Today is day 7 and you can't imagine the sickness its pretty bad restless leg and pain but im still completely drug free i saw a post forget who wrote it but follow the advice in earlier comments and take the supplements suggested it will help i have the the time being retired that i dont have to work so i can be a little sick and notdo anything but it has been tterrible. Try to ween down as low as you can and then keep taking the supplements you can do it

Trina, it's pretty simple - an 8 mg. film can be cut with scissors evenly - 8 times. Imagine cutting the suboxone in 8 small slivers that are about even - each one would be 1 mg a piece. 10 Subs could be enough for 2 people if you lower your dose by a LOT! I was able to jump from 6 mg to 1 mg in just a few days - I take Sam E, L-Tyrosine, and B Complex Vitamins - everyday! These are natural supplements/amino acids that heal the brain - the longer you can heal your brain, the easier it will be. Take them with the subs...no matter what dose, but taking them will help you to feel extremely comfortable when jumping off. When you finally jump off, that's when you increase your dose for everything. Also, try to get a hold of water pills to get it out of your system faster - drink a lot of water at the same time - it all really helps a lot. If you try to get off of Suboxone without this extra helpful stuff, you WILL RELAPSE. I've tried to get off of Subs about 7-8 times before without supplements. I'm doing it right now with the supplements, very very slowly. Yet, I'm finally getting somewhere and have the faith that I'm going to do it this time. I don't feel too bad. Do not move without many many more Subs - or get a doctor when you get to Alabama right away.

Hi there, I'm in need of help and advice so bad!!! I'm in a panic..I'm getting ready to move to Alabama nxt week.. I'm trying to get ahold of as many suboxones I can so I can get off this stuff for good... Once I move I won't be able to get any more subs.. I'm doing this by myself no doctor.. I've been on subs for 3 years.. With no doctor. I'm so done!!! Sick an tired of looking for subs so I don't get sick... I have 10 suboxone strips and 3 suboxone pills that I have gathered up.. I'm reading like crazy on everything I can do to get off of this stuff.. Can u plz tell me if that will be enough for me and my sister to tapper off? I'm buying this off friends and Can't afford it anymore plus I'm moving so I have no choice to get off... I'm so hoping for a new start!!! I can't wait to be normal!!!! I've been trying to find a pic of .025mg suboxone and can't find what it looks like.. I'm not sure at what I'm taking but it's not much.. An 8mg suboxone can last me about 3 or 4 days... I would like to show someone a pic of the amount I'm takin so someone can tell what I'm taking.. It seems like a little bit to me but I'm not sure...
