Ok so I have to take a hair drug test for a new job. They said it would go back a year and well I am freaking out right now because I took some methamphetamine (a very small amount) back in september of last year.

Hi Carol, I recently had to take a hair test and found out today that I PASSED!! I spent hours reading on what others had done and am very thankful for their postings. I told myself if I was able to pass this thing, I would post exactly what I had done in hopes of helping someone else pass too. I dose everyday, have long, thick dark brown hair to my butt. I had a little less than 24 hours to make this happen and I definitely had to pass. So here is exactly what I did and it worked for me. I hope it will work for you and anyone else that needs to pass this dreaded test!! I went to Sally's Beauty Supply and got all of the hair stuff I used. Listed below are the steps that I took and in this exact order...

1. Colorzap with 40 volume developer - I let this process for 1 hour on my hair then washed out.
2. Baking soda paste - applied baking soda to my wet head and rubbed it in making sure that I had every piece of hair coated- I let this stay on for 30 mins.
3. Tide original liquid laundry soap - washed the baking soda out with this.
4. Quick Blue Powder Bleach with 40 volume developer - let this stay on for about 50 minutes. Wash
5. Clarol ION haircolor with 40 volume developer. Recolored my hair back to what it was before stripping and bleaching. I let this stay on my head for 45 mins and washed it out. I let my hair dry naturally and then went about an hour later and had the test done.

WORD OF WARNING: Your scalp with be on fire and itch for days to come and your hair will need lots and lots of conditioning afterwards!

Heres my story:

Used daily for a month. 8 ball to be exact in a month. I know how much i can afford to spend in a month. When i know i got a test coming up - bleached hair 3 times - 40 volume developer mix with powdered bleach - got it at Sallys, then I colored it back to my normal hair color. My 3rd time of bleach thats when I left the bleach on for abt 1hr. My hair turned white. Then colored back to light brown then stayed clean went for test. Today I got my result all negative.

Passed mine, so did my girlfriend. Not sure if the cleaner helped but we used baking soda water to damage the hair then washed it with the Clorox toilet bowl cleaner and also used fresh lemon ...but we also weren't heavy users...

I took methamphetamine once in the beginning of December and once in November. I'm being tested today, being that it's been a month would I pass a hair follicle??

People don't seem to understand you when you tell them it has to be consistent over time and not just one time use. Lol

Vinegar the expensive kind..set it in hair days leading up. I also put baking soda in my hair and rinse it out with vinegar. This works as I'm a frequent struggling with methamphetamine. You can buy a shampoo to feel more confident but it can be passed.

It's going to be very hard to pass a hair drug test. That is one of the geniuses of hair drug testing - it's hard to beat. The only thing I can advise you on would be to do your own Anonymous Hair 5 Drug Panel test to see where you are at.

Well I passed a hair strand back in July after being completely clean from march-April and slipping slowly back in relapse about 2-3 days a week 3-4 times a day month from may-July by soaking n scrubbing my hair w such as vinegar.. Dog shampoo w 3% sacyclic acid.. Tide laundry detergent.. Baking soda peroxide paste treatments.. Drenching in hand sanitizer.. Bleaching.. And using omni cleanse shampoo before test.. Well ended up as all relapsing doesn't intend at first but always reappears in using almost daily not heavily but consistently after passing.. Had to take a hair strand last Wednesday had two days notice.. Soaked in vinegar, dog shampoo, arm n hammer detergent, drenched in hand sanitizer, two baking soda paste treatments and used omni cleanse FAILED!! Would it had made a difference had I had the week clean time n put as many treatment cycles n all the things I did before or is it impossible BC of my more consistent use?!!! I really need to get my s*** together, that would have been my last drug test n I would have got to bring my kids home!! I'm such a dumba**!! :'(

Ok, I have a hair test tomorrow by 1pm. It's been little over a month since I took any methamphetamine and I have bleached my hair, dyed my hair, washed it in tide 4 times, soaked it in heet for 15 min & dyed my hair again. Will it still show up? Is there anything I can do to pass this? Please, I am truly desperate as it's life & death to me. If I fail I lose everything I love most in this world. I don't plan on ever touching that s*** again. It's messed my whole life up. Please help.

A hair drug test is meant to show consistent use over time. A 1.5 inch sample will go back 90 days. My best guess is that you should be negative on a hair drug test. A lot depends on how strong the methamphetamine was.

A hair drug test is meant to show consistent use over time. A 1.5 inch sample, cut at the scalp line will go back 90 days. I doubt very much that small amount of adderral will show up in a hair drug test. Since your not going to be tested until January you could do you own Anonymous Hair 5 Drug Panel test to see.

A Hair Drug Test is meant to show consistent use over time. A 1.5 inch sample, cut at the scalp line, will go back 90 days. Being clean for one month might not be long enough to be negative. If you took too much 2 months before the one month you've been clean you could have a problem passing a hair drug test.

What is considered to be a small amount? I did about 2 lines a day for 4 days then stopped for 3 days then back to 2 lines a day for about 5 days.

Hello the hair testing guy - ok, here's my problem, around July 15th I had methamphetamine [ I didn't know that's what it was ] I took it about 4 times, I know sounds stupid but I never have even seen it until someone told me. I haven't done it again since then, only September 23rd I had to take a hair test for work. I did a urine test and It was negative for it. Do you think I will test positive for the hair test?? Actually having short head hair can cause some people problems. If the hair on the head is to short they might take body hair which shows a further back time frame so if he did very much marijuana in the last 6-9 months it might show up. But if they do use head hair I doubt it will show up because he didn't do enough drug to show positive.
