Ok so I have to take a hair drug test for a new job. They said it would go back a year and well I am freaking out right now because I took some methamphetamine (a very small amount) back in september of last year.

Yea, they most likely will take arm pit hair. But it's hard to say if it will show up. If I had to make an educated guess I would say that small amount won't show up.

I probably had 1/2 of a gram and haven't taken any in years. This was on friday jan 5th. I now have a hair test in 2 weeks and shaved my head not knowing there would be a test. Any advice? They will take armpit hair, correct?

Heres my story:

Used daily for a month. 8 ball to be exact in a month. I know how much i can afford to spend in a month. When i know i got a test coming up - bleached hair 3 times - 40 volume developer mix with powdered bleach - got it at Sallys, then I colored it back to my normal hair color. My 3rd time of bleach thats when I left the bleach on for abt 1hr. My hair turned white. Then colored back to light brown then stayed clean went for test. Today I got my result all negative.

What was your exact process to pass? I was a heavy user then was clean for 3 months and recently relapsed for about 2 weeks. I am subject to random hair follicles. I have stopped and am fixing to start rehab so I will stay clean but I don’t want to have a high # on the next test.

Ok, I have a hair test tomorrow by 1pm. It's been little over a month since I took any methamphetamine and I have bleached my hair, dyed my hair, washed it in tide 4 times, soaked it in heet for 15 min & dyed my hair again. Will it still show up? Is there anything I can do to pass this? Please, I am truly desperate as it's life & death to me. If I fail I lose everything I love most in this world. I don't plan on ever touching that s*** again. It's messed my whole life up. Please help.

So I stopped taking methamphetamine for six months and started again a month ago. I’m supposed to go in for a hair drug test in the beginning of January. What do I do to pass the test?

Hi. If you need to pass and you have only taken a small amount (if you are Caucasian, bleach your hair with a high volume bleach # 40. Next, get some methanol. It's sold at Walmart in a yellow bottle called Heed. Depending on the length of your hair get 2-4 bottles. Bleach your hair and get it as light as possible so the hair cuticle opens. Then rinse the bleach out and use Paul Mitchell #3 and then pour the methanol in your hair, massage into your hair real good from the roots to the ends, put a shower cap or a plastic bag over your head, leave it in for 45 minutes to an hour and wash it out with the shampoo. Repeat the procedure with methanol up until the day before the test. Then dye your hair back to its natural color, shampoo normal and style normal the day of the test so they won't suspect anything. If you have ethnic hair don't bleach, use a super no lye relaxer and leave it in for 30min instead of the 15min recommended and repeat this procedure with the shampoo, methanol, also keratin straighter and Japanese straighter will work just as well if you have coarse hair or ethnic hair. A hair test is meant to show consistent use over time. Body hair has a different growing cycle than head hair so it goes back further. My best guess is that you have a good chance at passing the test.

A hair test is meant to show consistent use over time. One time use like that won't show up. Also it takes about 7-10 days for the hair to grow above the scalp so it can be cut for a sample.

A hair drug test is meant to show consistent use over time. A 1.5 inch sample, cut at the scalp line, will go back 90 days. My best guess is that you did not use enough to show up on a hair drug test.
