Ok so I have to take a hair drug test for a new job. They said it would go back a year and well I am freaking out right now because I took some methamphetamine (a very small amount) back in september of last year.

I've been taking Methamphetamine and Xanax for a few months now almost every single day and I have hair follicle for probation tomorrow. How can I pass to not go to prison? Please be honest cuz I've tried almost everything.

As soon as you stop taking methamphetamine it stops getting into the hair. It takes about 5-10 days for the "clean" hair to grow above the scalp so it can be cut for a hair test. A 1.5 inch sample, cut at the scalp, is a 90 day history. You will have to stop taking methamphetamine over the next 90 days to be negative for a hair drug test. You could do you own Anonymous Hair 5 drug panel test to see where you are at.

Well that comment was a little while back so id even have to read to help me remember all of what i did because i fried my hair i did so much to it so dont reply with to many questions on the exact things i did to it but my time frame was i was able to put off the urine test for 3 days which i took niacin flooded my system with water then took some vitamin b's to give my urine color which i passed and had a hair test 2 days later and i did so much to my hair in that time i had to cut it and its still not normal again texture wise and it is growing very slow. I had been smoking very lightly but daily for a several days a week for a couple months before i was told about the case. So i dont know why i passed when having only 5 days to even prepare but i got very lucky. I dont advise anyone thinking that what i did will make them pass but a desperate person has little to lose if there's no other options. I wish you well in your journey . As far as you passing that test, i couldn't even guess but i hope your life turns out well.

Ok. I'm hoping things turn out well. I don't even think it was as much as that & it wasn't even consistent. I hit it maybe a few times a week for maybe 4 weeks added up, & my hair grows fast. Do you think everything should work out?

Hello. I've been on a cps case for a year. I have my kids back thank god but i went to visit family out of town and i took some methamphetamine on Thanksgiving twice. Now my case worker called me in for a hair follicle so they can close my case. I drenched my hair in white vinegar last nite and let it sit overnight. I just drenched it again and ima wash it with tide n also before i go ima put peroxide n bleach on it. Do you think it will still come out positive? I'm very worried. I was clean for 11 months and I'm so upset with myself.

A hair drug test is meant to show consistent use over time. A 1.5 inch sample, cut at the scalp line, will go back 90 days. My best guess is that you did not use enough to show up on a hair drug test.

A hair test is meant to show consistent use over time. One time use like that won't show up. Also it takes about 7-10 days for the hair to grow above the scalp so it can be cut for a sample.
