Ok so I have to take a hair drug test for a new job. They said it would go back a year and well I am freaking out right now because I took some methamphetamine (a very small amount) back in september of last year.

A half inch sample of hair will only go back 1 month. It all depends on how much of the drug you took, but my best guess is that you did not take enough to show a positive on a hair drug test.

I took about $20 worth of methamphetamine in the first week of july, then another $20 worth last week of july. I stayed clean for about all of august and took about $40 worth (maybe less, maybe a little more) in the first week of september. My hair is very thin and I keep it at about 1 1/2 - 2 inches in length, with monthly trims. If I need to test between now and november, do i have a chance to pass? Side note: I wash my hair with Coal Tar Shampoo a lot to limit dandruff build up.

Use apple vinagar and leave it in over night then next morning wash with tide liquid detergent. Repeat till test. It doesnt show as altering for the test. I have 3 days for cps

It depends on how strong the methamphetamine was and when the exact time that you have to take the test. A 1.5 inch sample, cut at the scalp line, will go back 90 days. This is hard one to answer because of all the variables. I would say you have a 50/50 chance of passing. The only advice I have would be to do you own Anonymous Hair 5 Drug Panel test to see where you are at.

I had a hair strand test 3 months ago and it came back high in crack cocaine and low in cannabis. I have been clean since then. But I had about 5 lines of cocaine last week and about half a gram of methamphetamine this week and my hair strand test is sometime in the next two weeks. Will it be positive? Also, how long after digesting drugs does it go into the hair follicle, and if I was to have £40 worth of cocaine would it show up after having a test and it coming up high?

A lot depends on how strong the cocaine and methamphetamine were. My best guess is that you have a 50/50 chance of passing a hair test. It takes about 5-10 days, after the ingesting of drugs, to have it grow above the scalp so it can be cut for a hair drug test.

Has any one done a home hair follicle test and failed. I was a heavy user up untill 6 weeks ago. I bleached my hair several times and used countless hair detox shampoos and finally did a home hair test it came back negative. Is this accurate?

Use apple cider vinegar on dry hair at night for three nights then get up next morning wash with tide liquid detergant the last morning was with tide Then rinse and shampoo

A hair drug test is meant to show consistent use over time. A 1.5 inch sample, cut at the scalp line, will go back 90 days. My best guess is that the 3 adderall you took are not enough to show up a a hair test.

I took a home hair test and came back negative. Is this accurate or did I just get ripped off? I was just wondering if bleaching hair really got all traces of all drugs out the hair?

I was sober for 2 yrs and just last week I took a dose of Methamphetamine again but only for one day. Then this week I took it for 2 days. I just got called for a job that requires hair drug testing. Will it show up?

I have been clean a little over 2 years for the last 6 months. Every 2 weeks i would take a dose for the weekend, then dosed again a few days ago as well as yesterday. I'll test by thursday. What do u recommend for me? I cant die my hair as it's a dead give away. I've never died my hair. Please help!

I don't think you took enough to show up on hair drug test but a lot depends on how strong the methamphetamine was and how much was ingested. IF I had to guess I would say it won't show up on a hair test.

I originally posted on #308. My hair follicle test results came back negative. Given the little amount I took Im not surprised. The lady also did not even cut at my scalp. She left about an 1/8th inch of hair between where she cut and my scalp.

Back in August & September I did a small amount of meth. Maybe a gram & a half, during that whole time. Before then it had been over a year. I've been clean for over 30 days now & I had to take a hair test. Do you think I'll fail my test?

I took Methamphetamine a week ago. How long does it take the Methamphetamine to stop growing with your hair?
