How To Combat Pristiq Drowsiness One Month In?

Ok, I would like to hear back from anyone who is successfully taking Pristiq...I just did an ID Genetix test through my doctor and it tested for depression first with anxiety as my backup issue. It gave me results on which medications I can successfully take to treat these issues according to my genetic makeup. Kind of a lifesaver after years of fooling around with different meds, different doses and docs who really had no idea what to do for me. So, Pristiq came back as my best choice to treat my main issue - Depression. I started taking 50mg daily on 6/28/15. Took it at bedtime since that's when I was taking my previous med, just thought I would try that first since there was really no indication other than to take at the same time each day. About two weeks ago, the drowsiness during the day set in. It was bad. So I read some forums where people said to take it upon waking, as they experienced an energy boost shortly thereafter. Well, I've tried taking it in the morning now for about five days and I am SO tired and drowsy that I can't seem to do anything but nap. Should I go back to taking it at bedtime?? Will the drowsiness eventually wear off?? I want to stick it out, just want to hear about this from those who made it through and are having good results. I realize I am only a month in. Depression-wise, I am having good results, many more purely happy moments with my kids, etc. but the drowsiness is the problem. Help?

Most side effects are transient and will taper off, then go away entirely around 4 to 6 weeks in, once your body gets used to a medication.

Has there been any improvement, yet?

Other side effects, as listed by the FDA, may include nausea, dizziness, headache and weight changes.
