How Long Will It Take To Stop Spotting After Jadelle Removal

I removed Jadelle because of the constant bleeding (moderate and heavy spoting everyday between period, and heavy bleeding during period) I kept it in for seven months hoping that my body would adjust, I also gained a lot of weight (due to changes in my eating habit which I associate with the controception). I removed the Jadelle inpant 7 days ago but continue to spot lightly everyday, how long with it take for this to stop...before the implant I had a normal flow (28 days cycle) like clock work. I am also still having those severe cramps.

I had jadelle for 7 months but it was removed after the prolonged bleeding for 14-16 days. The period had stopped on the 16 day but its back again n its brown . I am now taking family planning pills as I wait to have coil inserted when I get the next period. Previously I have had abnormal bleeding when I tried the everyday day pills and the injections (depo injection.) What could be wrong now?
I had my Jadelle implants removed on Tuesday but I started experiencing high temperature since Wednesday. my irregular period came on Thursday, slightly heavy bleeding. could it be a side effect of the removal? what other side effects should I expect?
It took about two months for my cycle to return to its pre- jadelle state.
I have read that you can get pregnant immediately after its removal; however I would suggest that you wait at least three months before trying to get pregnant. It takes about that amount of time for your hormones to balance themselves out.
Jadelle is not dangerous and I have had friends who have not had any side effects, I was just unlucky in that department I guess. I also know people who had healthy pregnancies after removal.
You have nothing to worry about, if it were not for the many side effects I experienced I would not have removed it.
Best of Luck!
I removed the Jadelle myself, how risky it is?? How long do i take to get pregnant? Is what i did safe or i need to see a doctor?
Thanks so much for your reply Verwon, it was removed by my doctor. The spotting has now stopped but I do have a persistent headache and some anxiety. I just assumed the anxiety was cause by life (though nothing has changed) and the headache by the anxiety.
I have also been very irritable and annoyed by the mildest things. Its good to know that I have not been loosing my bearing cause I know that my thoughts and feelings were irrational.
Hello, Valeisha! How are you doing? Are you still spotting?
Did you remove the implants yourself, or did your doctor remove them?
It could take a couple months, before your body starts to get back to norma and you experience your normal cycles, again. Other withdrawal effects, as listed by the FDA, may include headaches and irritability.
