@Crazzydan,
From what I've heard being mentioned in other related threads, due to the long half life of Buprenorphine (20 - 73 hours), you may have to wait at least a few days before you'd be able to feel the full effects of something like Vicodin. However, it seems like it would still be wise to consult with your doctor as well for a professional opinion on the matter.
Were you prescribed Vicodin by the same doctor who wrote the prescription for Suboxone?
@Karen,
Is your doctor aware of your intentions to stop taking Suboxone? I only ask because he/she could easily help you come up with a tapering schedule based on the dosage and quantity you have remaining. If you follow their instructions to the "T" and work closely on a time frame that is appropriate for you, then you should be able to avoid the harsh withdrawal symptoms.
I hope this helps! Does anyone else have advice from personal experience?
Did you ever receive an answer in regards to a time frame?
