How.long Do The Side Effects Last When You Stop The Drug?

Within one half hour of using vandazole I experienced hives, dizziness, shortness of breath and the next morning i was still short of breath and felt like I was going to faint. The shortness of breath slowly disappeared and I was fine for the rest of the day. When I went to sleep last night I woke up at 1:00 a.m. Short of breath again but the other effects were gone. Has anyone else experienced this? How long do you continue to experience the side effects after you stop the medicine?

Have you contacted your doctor?

You should consult with them to get to the root of the problem, because the shortness of breath waking you up at night could be the sign of a different, but very serious health problem and may not just be from the medication. Thus, it's very important to get to the root of the problem.

It's a horrible medicine!!! Took it for 3.5 day and had to quit due to extreme diarrhea and a worsening of my nasal congestion which I was taking it to relieve. Eventually had to go to E.R twice with anaphylactic shock. Chest,throat and face all swelled. Was taking prednisone at the same time. Devils drug as far as I'm concerned. Also caused breathing problems due to huge anxiety it caused . Still confused and anxious a week after stopping it. Taking anti anxiety drugs for the first time in my life to help cope.
