2 days is not enough to clear Valium, also Valium has other active metabolites that are tested. Unless you took a ridiculously low dose then I would say that you are in danger of failing the test.

Imam a recovering addict, my drug of choice are opiates. I am 2 years clean, before your applause, please know that not a minute goes by that I don't think about getting high! This drug ruined my life I lost my job of 13 years, muy houses, my drivers license, my credit, and almost my husband. Yet I still want it so badly! My husband says how my eyes light up whenever I speak of getting high. I have been to 8 rehabs, I go to therapy and attend an meetings 5 times a week! Nothing is helping my cravings. I know there are billions of addicts out there suffering from the same thing,but I feel like I'm the only one in the world that is this obsessed with those damn opiates!!! I'm just ready to throw in the towel in every sense of the word!

Clonidine is a blood pressure med so almost POSITIVE unless their testing for opiates or benzos that will NOT SHOW on your test GOOD LUCK!!

yes, I am on methadone maintenance as well and when I tapered the doctor prescribed clonodine .2 mg and it works great!! Good luck, and drink lots of water!!!

I have been talking Xanax for 10hrs 1mg 3 times daily it is prescribed to me. I took 5 10mg values over a 2 day period. How long will the Valium take to not show up on a drug screen? I can cover the Xanax because it's prescribed. Any information will be helpful.

trust me stay in your system up to 30 days I actually just got done taking a 10 panel drug test 30 minutes ago and it has been 21 days exactly since the last time I took a valium and I only took in about 30 milligrams And it still came up positive .active guy with a fast metabolism.so yes it can stay in your system30 days

I take methadone which slows ur metabolism down I took a couple valium for 3 days and after 4 weeks it's still showing in the lab test though it might not show in instant test idk. I'm praying it won't show up this weeks test. Like I said I know my metabolism is very slow but I think the,message here is peoples results can be very different in how long it stays in the body

yes, chronic users of valium who take daily dosages for years would have it out of system along with its metabolites before 30 days. I'd say for those using valium daily for a year or more expect the active metabolites in your system for a healthy individual to be gone 2-3 weeks post usage.
Please do not listen to everything you read on the internet. Valium while a long half life, does not for even those with severe liver dysfunction stay in system as long as what is mentioned. This doesn't mean valium doesn't have other problems with chronic use. One major issue is it is one of the benzo's with a very high lipid value, builds up after a few weeks of use in fat cells where it stores itself. Other than the fact it can cause sedation without even realizing it, for some, with long term use other problems such as neurotoxicity can occur. Unlikely by itself, nevertheless, not a first choice anxiolytic I would recommend using long term. Has very good therapeutic effects however for the short term(4 weeks)
