How Does Ativan Help Depression?
UpdatedI am currently experiencing anxiety and sever depression and anhedonia. So far I've found that Ativan seems to relieve the depression, but not really the anxiety.(I feel kind of eurphoric on .5mg for a few hours.) I'm having strange reactions to benzos right now, with my condition seemingly being caused by clonazepam. My question is that are there any dedicated antidepressents (preferably used as an augment for nortriptyline) that influence depression-related chemicals in the brain in a similar way as Ativan? I think I saw somewhere that Ativan affects GABA.
