How Do I Safely Dispose Of Unused Naproxen?
UpdatedMy daughter did not finish the prescription as it seemed to have an adverse effect on her, so we have a few tablets left. How do I safely dispose of them?

You can take them to a pharmacy and they will dispose of them for you.
Alternatively, the FDA disposal instructions advise you to mix them with some undesirable substance, such as used coffee grounds, or used cat litter, place the whole mess into a sealed container and then dispose of it in your trash.
Naproxen is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and stomach irritation.
Is there anything else I can help with?
