How Can I Tell If My G3722 Xanax Bar Is Real Or Not (Page 14)

My latest script for xanax has imprint g3722 and it seems to have no taste or effects. I've been taking them for a long time and to my surprise they seem to do nothing. Have you heard of this? It is a white xanax bar that seems to be a little thick.

Ya-that manufacturer of Xanax is awful!! Most generics of ANY benzodiazepines are seriously cut down!! They claim that it’s all the same but they are absolutely NOT!! Same with my Klonapin-if they don’t have the actual K stamped in the middle than they don’t work unless I take more that the “recommended “ dose. The drug companies many ways to make Themselves rich-while ppl like us with these serious conditions suffer!! I ask for no substitutions. And if your insurance wont cover it-make them listen!! Or pay cash-mine are not too bad for a months supply w out insurance $32. Good Luck hun and give em hell about generics that don’t work!!

I've come across these "counterfeits" many times! Exact size even! At first they didn't have a gloss shine to them. Now they do, as well. These are usually made with the proper amount (?) of Alprazolam powder, which isn't water soluble, so the pill must be made with the proper binders/solubilizes so the Alprazolam can take effect when taking. I've run into some with different therapeutic qualities, as only part of the pill is soluble. And others with rest of the therapeutic qualities. If you get a prescription and are having this problem, I'd ask your doctor about switching to 1mg Xanax (Alprazolam). I've never seen or heard of the 1mg pills being counterfeited! Alprazolam powder is alcohol soluble. You'd have to put it in a very strong alcohol, like "everclear", to work. I don't recommend that!!!

No-they REALLY do not work as well. Some generics do work as they should-like antibiotics or blood pressure meds etc....however when it comes to generic prescriptions for aniexty;depression and other behavioral health drugs...the pharm companies do not make them the same. Definitely read Book of Lies about our lovely Pharmaceutical companies!!!!

Why would you question your pharmacy??? You cannot get a drug that is made in the USA anymore. Most pharm companies have sold us out - they have been moved over to other countries where they can find workers that will accept lower pay and they can get less expensive ingredients, and the worst part is - less regulations!!

Read the book "Bottle of Lies". We can never expect to get the same drugs you were taking. Surprise, surprise, a friend of mine was having such horrible side effects from generic Prozac (fluoxetine) that she finally asked for the real Prozac. She was excited to finally get the real thing by a pharmacy not located in India, Pakistan, or China. Guess what - Eli-Lilly, I guess sold out to China. The real Prozac will now be made in China if I understand this this complicated issue. Just read the book I told you about and stop being ignorant. YOU AND OTHERS ARE NOT GETTING THE DRUGS THAT WORKED FOR YOU. We won’t get them again until we get our pharmacy companies back in AMERICA.

Hi Alan, you get thaat many a month? You are very lucky, I was getting 60 a month 2mg twice a day. Now, ny doctor tells me he stopped writing those types of medications, and that I might be able to get some from a shrink! This is so mean, no sleep again, I'm a wreck, I have chronic back pain, prone to panic attacks Etc. If anyone out there can spare some of theirs, untill I can get money to be able to go to a shrink. This is so terrible, I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy, well if I had one

All you people who are taking xanax or alprazolam for anxiety, maybe you could try nadolol instead. It is used to lower blood pressure, but it is also helps anxiety. But don't consider it if you already have low blood pressure.

I've been on Greenstone 3722 for 20 years. They were effective as a Benzo. In time, if not abused they are not as effective.

When my pharmacist gave me the same drug, I looked at the guide. It was Aurobindo! Not the same though they looked the same. I got very bad side effects, as headaches, nausea, jitteryness.... just horrible. I think the problem is right there. So upset, I changed Pharmacy and got Breckenridge. It's not as good, but does the job.

As long as not chalky or crumble hardness in the white g3722 is usually a good sign. Take a small piece and try to float it in sprite. If it drops it's a good sign. Other trick put 1/4 of tablet on tongue - if it dissolves fast it's prob no good.

Greens are stronger than the blue white and yellow bars. For a fact. I also heard they are time release but I'm about to research that. But definitely green ones. I take them for anxiety

the best way to tell if they are legitimate is look at the edges. And the more round they are, they are good. If the corners square off, they're made by a pill press. Might have some benzo in it but probably a pinch too much of fentanyl. So you want round to stay around sharp corner go see the corner. Sorry best way for me to remember. Not proud but I take 180 x 2mg per month. White, Yellow, Green, it doesn't matter. You're gonna be f**** later.

I have been on them 12 plus years and never more than 2-3 mg a day. i was prescribbed the 1 mg green footballs and yellow bars as well and the green ones. I missed appt and got dropped and not a drug abuser but cant stand these pressed on green bars or white even. I know the taste and shape but how do i find a legit dr cuz i keep getting ones that dont seem right. what did you mean by you got sick

Really? I had Bars, many bars and now just have the 1 mg pills left. I never felt it necessary to take the 2 mg dose, instead breaking it into 3 parts. Knowing what I learned about CT withdrawal, and a wild week stay in the local E.R. Always best to take the smallest dose possible, believe me!

Many bars, the 2mg pills are made from Alprazolam powder, a "Research chemical", not illegal. Basically generic Xanax that's not water soluble (this is where the counterfeits come from. 1gm of this powder is $4.95 from China, but not to the US). Mexico gets it by the shipping containers! I've seen the powder advertised on Google for $89/gm in The US. Not worth trying to make work. Makes 500-2mg pills, so the "taste" people mention is probably what one of the water soluble products that are used, as I don't think 1/500th/gm (split this gm into 500 piles). That's what's in Xanax USP.

Best bet, if you don't trust the pharmacy tablets or 2mg pills, get double the 1mg Xanax/generic. I'm in Texas and have never, ever seen a bad 1mg. Usually a light blue, football shape, some are round though. If getting a script, tell your doctor about this and 2 x 1mg pills instead of however many 2mg. Hopefully this will help you or someone out there if getting bad bars from the pharmacy even.
