How Can I Get Subutex Not Suboxone? (Page 9) (Top voted first)

I don't know how to go about this as I am shaking and can barely focus, I need help! Please. I fear that my life is going to end from my abuse of opiates. I am currently taking 250 mgs of oxycontin per day. I have a loving fiance and a stepdaughter that I want to be here for. I sit here with cold sweats, and fear going out just because I may make the fearful turn to the meds. Any and all info on how to obtain Subutex would be much appreciated. This wasn't what I wanted my life to be, and I can not let it end this way..Please help me. I am not a religious man but I pray for help as I am at my wits end with this drug.

Please help me I have been taking methadone for over 21/2 years. And I am ready to stop I cannot afford it. My Heath is at risk I can't use the bathroom like I should. My arms and hands go numb all the time. I am 21 years old and I do not have time to go to rehab I have a job and kids. I do not have a regular doctor I wouldn't even know where to start. Please tell me what to do who to talk to are call to help me get help!!!

You need to start coming down very slowly. Do not go cold turkey cuz you will get sick as hell

Can anyone tell me if they've found any answers? I'm in Massachusetts.. where are all of you? I get two and a half a day of subutex... there's never enough so towards the end of the month my hands swell and I get sharp pains through my wrists and fingers.. I had to try different doctors offices

What are your plans,are you wanting to stay on methadone,which is hell to come off,or do you want a suboxone Dr.also how far are you willing to travel I am from Georgia so only know some around here.also do you have Medicare,Medicaid.if you are looking for doc go to heretohelp and I recommend you call they will find nearest doctors even call them for you and make appointment I wish u the best

Not true half the people who use to take pain pills through their nose now shoot up suboxone. It dangerous and subutex is safer. But they do it any way. Suboxone strips or pills are easy to inject and don't not believe the meth that it puts u into immediate withdrawal. It a lie produced by pharmaceutical companies. They only way it would happen is they used a pain pill then shot up suboxone. But if all they take is suboxen they will shoot it or snort it. The whole thing is a joke. Both meds only cause another habit. Truly they should prescribe subutex it is much cheaper and if you are allergic to naloxine like many people are then give it to them. It should not be given to pregnant women and hep c patients only. That's discrimination and it promotes drug trafficking. Also a lot of stupid women are getting convinced to become pregnant because it is so hard to get the subutext. Then their boyfriends turn around and sell it. If an antibiotic did not agree with u the doctor would prescribe another. Why not do that with suboxone and subutex.

Hello I was wondering if you called that doctor and if they did in fact give you the subutex? I am currently going to a subutex doctor right now but they are charging me a arm and a leg (575.00) if I have to continue paying it I will but 270 sounds soo much beter. I appreciate any info you can provide me with. Thanks!!

I have no insurance, I have been addicted to opiates for 6 years , have shot up with puddle water before, Iam desperate. My family's done with me. I love family. My exboyfriend gave me some of his suboxone . I had hope then we split and Iam in bad shape shape . Please help,

The only way my dr gave me subutex was bcuz I am pregnant.the only way the D.E.A wil allow him to prescribe subutex is if ur allergic to suboxone n u need proof or if sumone is pregnant. Idk bout other states im in MA.

How much is clean slate? Im in ma too dr in fall river which is 160 every mth n 260 the 1st appt n I get 3 a day too

Im in ma n my dr is $160 a visit n if ur allergic to the suboxone n have proof he will prescribe subutex also if ur pregnant hes in fall river ma and only in 1day a week first appt is 260 may b more if he is accepting new patients not sure he may b at his patient limit the place is alwsys packed n cash only i have info if u need it!

Thank you, I could not have described my own view and experience any better, the subs flat out instantly ended a long long long battle for me. 8yrs no street stuff, no nothing but a half 8 mg sub 1/4 in morn 1/4 in eve, And I been good, people can say what ever they want, at least I am off some earthly good now. It's been a blessing that almost brings me to tears of gratitude.

First believing in god is a startI am going through same thing. Only I took 50milligrams methodone daily. I got soboxene because you can't fill medicine even though prescribed. You have ti go through withdraw before you take soboxon or subutex. I have tell you I don't see where. They help at all. Your life will be so much better when you over this. Its not worth losing ones u love

im 2 months clean from H....I was a very heavy user, I shot over 30 caps a day ....you can get through the withdrawls!!!! I bought 2 subutex off a person that had them and I cut them in quarters and took a quarter sublingual that lasted me three days ...I also took alka seltzer plus and vitamins...read the bible and pray for strength.....you can do this if you really want it. try to stay away from people who are addicts.. take warm showers....I know they feel like a bunch of bees stinging you but it helps with the sweats ......I feel so much better now....i'm living again!!!

hey Ron, that seams like a hell of a lot of methadone are you sure? In OZ the max dose is 200 mg or 40mls people get the dosing of methadone mixed up because some people talk in Mg's and others in mls. Generally you cant switch over to subutex/suboxone until your down to 40mgs of methadone. usually reducing by 10mgs a month then switch to 32mgs of subutex i know that this will take a long time perhaps 2 - 3 years bit doing it slowly increases by 4 fold your chance of remaining abstinence take it slow and let your body guide you and don't be pressured to go any faster than what makes you comfortable good luck and one last thing beware of synthetic methadone called Bio-done it is cheaper bit has a much shorter half life about 16 hours where the original methadone is about 36 hours so you really only need to dose once a day if your forced to use bio-done or phyceptone tablets insist on BD dosing. I'm not sure if your allowed take away doses in the US in OZ tour allows 4 take away doses a week after 3 months with clean urine then you only have to go to the pharmacy 3 days in 7.

I agree with everything you've said with the exception of the cost of suboxone vs subutex. I have been on both. Suboxone in the state of TN is $13.50 per strip without insurance vs $3.75 per tablet of Subutex w/o insurance. Otherwise everything you said is right. Whether you decide to go to an addiction specialist or to in-patient rehab, if you're not serious about stopping all drug and alcohol use you will end up in the same place but on another drug. Meetings, support, and the will to be sober is the only answer.

That incorrect. You can most definitely go on subutex for treatment. Subutex and suboxone are both partial opiates, because they have a ceiling affect which means you can't take more and more and feel high such as oxy's. I have been going to a methadone clinic for my subutex. Now i go to a private dr. Who prescribes it. You have to be withdrawing they said because you could go into full or worse withdrawals. It's worth calling around clinics and asking if they have it. This post was negative and you need positive help. I hope you will choose this. Dr. Kishore in melbourne prescribes it.
