I have reciently taken a large amount of xanax after abstaining for 4 months. like many I have a drug test coming up. my question is, are there any natural ways to flush it out so the test will be negative?

Ok by your own diagram the max half life is 15 hours but really it's 20, you take the half life of xanax let's say 20 and multiply that by 5.5 which comes to 110 hours then divide that by 24 hours and you'll come to 4.5 days. There is an app that you can go to it's called the half life calculator, you select the drug then put in how many mg you took then hit calculate, you'll get your answer.

i take maybe 1mg -2mg of xannax every 3 days if even. i just took 4 bars and was wondering what i could do to help me flush it out of my system. i have a test coming up in 7-14 days i havent been using xans long term either just started taking them so any info i can get on helping me flush my system would be great.

Samm, unfortunately the addictions crisis arose from greedy prescription happy doctors. The failed to educate the patients, failed to do adequate f/u, wrote unrealistic dosage and quantities. Kept the patients on for way longer, past the recommended duration.

If the drug test is for a new job and you have a valid prescription. Then you have nothing to worry about. If it's for screening because you are in treatment then try to do something to delay taking the test.

I'm prescribed Clonazepam and I take Xanax / Valium and I just drink a lot of water and exercise and in 3 days it's out of my system. I weigh 174 lbs and am 6 foot 1.

Thank you! For ANYONE TO UNDERSTAND THEY MUST EITHER BE A RECOVERING ADDICT OR BE ONE. XANAX DOES NOT! (REPEAT) DOES NOT TAKE SIX WEEKS. Now if u are taking valium ie. Diazepam (a benzo) yes it can take 42 days to get out of URINE. BUT NEVER XANAX It only has a half life of like 12 hours which means it should be out in less than a week unless you are an everyday user thats been on them for years...

Get your facts right man.... Xanax will be out of your system in 4 days max after taking your last dose. Trust me I've done it many times. Clonazepam is a max of 11 days.

Actually if you are an avid regular user, 6-8 weeks is typically the amount of time it takes to get it completely out of your system and to be able to have a clean UA. Educate yourself.

I've been on suboxone for years and get tested every month. I take Xanax to help me sleep. I take two Blues every night. Today is Thursday, my urine test is next Thursday. I've been doing this for at least a year and always have a clean urine sample. I think if you drink a lot of water like I do and stay active it takes 3 - 6 days to be out of your system.
