How To Find A Doctor Who Prescribes Xanax

I have an autistic child starting high school next year, my oldest son flunked out of college and my daughter got a new car and someone without insurance hit it. Plus the stress of my job. I took xanax 10 years ago and it really helped till my life settled back down. Please help. I hate going to doctors because I feel like they think I am just wanting a controlled substance. I also need something to help me sleep.

Can you post back with at least your general area? This would help others to be able to suggest a doctor or clinic that might be able to help you.

And yes, that is usually the problem people frequently run into, if you are specifically looking for a controlled substance, doctors tend to look at that as drug seeking behavior.

So, the best piece of advice I can give you is to not specifically ask for any certain medication, when you see a new doctor. Make sure to transfer or take a copy of all your medical records with you. Then, the best approach is to discuss what has and hasn't worked for you in the past. Most doctors will take it under consideration, if they know it's worked for you, without causing any problems or severe side effects.

Need a doctor in Baltimore who prescribes benzos. when I got pregnant with my 2 year old I stop taking them now my son is born and I'm noticing . now my problem is finding a doctor because the doctor that I was saying when I got pregnant no longer takes my health insurance I need them again im having mental issues because the anxiety become physical and mental!!!

You can also say,you've tried various other anxiety meds and the only one that seemed to work was Xanax. If you don't have a script,say you were fed up and your grandma gave you one of her anxiety pills and it's the first time you've had any relief!! Worked for me,I named Valium, Kolonopins, Etc.If you've ever had a script written for Xanax then get the records and the new Doc.should rewrite!!

I'm 38 and have very bad panic attacks anxiety depression is just crazy And can't find a doc to really help I had one prescribed me valum but then he moved so now they just give me things that are not helping me sleep or be able to go out that's how bad Iam I don't leave my house I lost everything had my own business lost it still no help I'm in need of help bad I also have MRI I have bad back pain a bulging desk's deteriorating disc and arthritis and they only give me tramadol for that I'm in Maryland need help

Which drs do this though? I have a year worth of prescriptions i could get copies of. My dr did some shady stuff so I really want to find a dr in baltimore that will help me. I suffer from SEVERE anxiety to the point where I cannot function as a normal person in life unless I have my xanax... like I'm getting fed up. Pleasr please please help me... :( !

Hey I was wondering if you found a doctor in Baltimore that would prescribe you Xanax? I have been on it for 7 years and I want to taper but I cannot find a doctor that will help me they won't prescribe it at all I get seizures without the medication I've had two strokes I can't go cold turkey if you reply I will give you my personal info I would really really appreciate it I don't know what else to do
