How Long Will Adderall Stay Detectable In Urine (Page 2)

I am a Methadone patient. My clinic does random drug tests once a month. They send urine to a lab but just for the standard test and only upon false positives and other rare circumstances they have the lab extensively test (this is done rarely for the clinic is cheap, seriously). I took 30mg Adderall through the day Friday and stopped by 5:00 pm. The soonest I can be tested is this Tuesday. What is the likelihood of the results being positive? Thank you and I know what I did was dangerous and regret it.

Wanna know how you can guarantee that you will test negative for amphetamines? This is absolutely fool proof, works amazing, and this technique has never backfired in the history of mankind?.........

Hi guys. I took half of a 974 b 30mg pill of adderall. So that's 15mgs. I never take adderall ever. Like that was he first time I took it in over a year. I have a urine test in 2 days. Do you think it will show up? Please get back to me. I appreciate it. Thanks.

You didn't say when you took it but based on the Time / Day of your post I''ll assume it was Tuesday morning or Monday sometime. Either way, if you have 48hrs until test your good. I would suggest a Jog and or a good gym session both days leading up to test. No alcohol or pills of any kind including vitamins, this just gives your body more to break down. After the test I recommend you keep the gym and quit the energy boosters. Trust me, work out 5 to 6 days a week and you will have energy to burn. Plus you will look damn good to boot.

I agree no real friend would do that to u, but obviously u don't know street code. Only rats call cops. Just write that person out of ur life.

He said he took 9-10 adderalls on Friday and the earliest he could get tested is on Tuesday... But yes you are correct, taking a good decent job will help sweat it out..

Eric, I too had my whole script of Suboxones stolen from me by a suposed friend that I was trying to help out, and not only did she get me for 28 Suboxones, She also stole 120 Twenty Mg Adderol and 120 Thirty Mg Adderol Extend Release, I take 200 Mg of Adderol for Narcolepsy......... When I figured out they were gone so wasn't she...... I didn't know what the hell to do...... How do you explain to your Drs all that medication gone!!! I was in tears, But I had no choice than to call both my Drs, The Dr who prescribes my Suboxones and The Dr who prescribes my Adderols....... Thank God both of my Drs knew me very well and knew that I would never intentionally sell or give my medication away........ They both told me to get a police report so that way my insurance would cover the refills for all my prescriptions....... But going to the police isn't as easy as every says....... I was treated like some kinda criminal when I went there........ The cop kept saying to me "You Sure You Didn't Just Sell Them" "Why Are You Taking So Much Adderall" I flipped out and yelled at the cop and said First, of all im 48 years old, and ive never been arrested for drugs!! Second, of all I don't think its any of your business why im taking such a high dose of Adderall!!! I said if you want to know why im on such a high dose of Adderall call my Dr!! And I also said im the victim here and your treating me like some 2 bit criminal, I broke down crying and said "Why don't you call both of my Drs and ask them if this has ever happened to me before" And they will tell you No!! And I've been on all 3 for 6 years....... When I went to pick up the police report there was no mention of them being stolen, as the police put it........ I lost them!!! I then went back to the police station with my fiance who is a Captain with a Local Police Dept in the area im from, They called the officer in that wrote the report and we were sitting there and the officer looked at my fiance and said "What The F*** Are You Looking At" Not knowing that my fiance ranked way over him my fiance replied to him "Not F***ing Much !! The cop then said im not gonna be stared down in my house and said to me You !! Come with me !! Where I was taken into a room and drilled again about how they think I sold my medication........Where again I protected myself telling them this has never happened to me and no I did not sell my medication........ All through this my fiance just sat there and let this cop bury himself of how he was treating someone like me who needed their help....... Well don't you know at the end of this whole ordeal, my fiance pulled out his Captains Badge and said to him "Hi I'm Capt B****** with the S******* Police Department, Now I Want Your Badge # And I Want You To Now Go Get Your Capt or Chief who's in Charge, Cause I'd Like To Make a Complaint Against You!! So You See Eric......Being Honest is the Right Thing To Do........But Be Careful in What and How You Say Things To The Police.......Having a Whole Script Stolen Sucks, But What Even Sucks Worse is When You Go To The Police For Help.......And Your Treated Like The Criminal....... I have found that the cops WONT listen stolen medication in a police report. I don't understand this. I believe that my purse was taken for my meds that were in it. Yes everything else is valuable and hard to replace, but meds are irreplaceable. I couldn't even get my local sheriff's dept to listen my meds in the police report. I had major problems doing without what I needed the most

I would assume that you could show them your most current script for the Adderall..Tell em you've dragged out the script bc u couldn't afford it anymore n wanted to wean if asked. I've never had an issue, if I had ever been prescribed before and used a not so current bottle. Idk how strict they are there though...

I was searching for answers for over a week and found nothing conclusive so here's my experience for you all to use in case you're in the same or similar situation as me.

Note: All irrelevant dates/stats are slightly skewed to keep anonymity (as friends know my story).

Background: 21 Years Old, 160 lbs, 5'10, 15 - 20% BMI, Fast Metabolism, quit smoking marijuana over 1 year ago for another drug test, and have taken other drugs on occasion (over 1-2 months before this occasion).

Story: I had taken 15 mg IR at 12 PM Thursday (1/1) and retook 15 mg IR at 6 PM the same day (1/1) for a total of 30 mg IR (circular pill form). Accepted a job offer on Monday with 48 hrs to take my drug test. Took the drug test (Pre-Employment LabCorp) Wednesday around 12 PM (1/7). Received notification that I passed on Thursday (1/8) around 12 PM.

Knowledge: According to my research, I learned that 30 mg of IR adderall had a half life of around 10 hrs (ranged from 8 - 20 hours depending on metabolism, IR or XR, etc) meaning that the 5 days I had (120 hours) meant 12 half lives (maximum) for the drug. Using this calculator (Drug Half Life Calculator) I found that I would have under the 1000 ng/ml requirement (or 500 ng/ml depending on type of screening) for Adderall (which would've been flagged as an amphetamine or methamphetamine depending on the stage at which the test caught the drug breaking down). From Friday-Monday Morning (when I was unaware of the drug test), I didn't exercise, drink alot of water (except what was necessary to keep away the hangovers), nor eat very heavy/greasy foods. Even on Monday after I learned I drank slightly more water (bathroom every 3-6 hours) and didn't exercise (although I hear because Adderall is neither water/fat soluble it wouldn't matter much). Even when pissing into the drug test I used the beginning of the stream rather than the middle or end (where myth as it there's less of the enzymes (?) visible necessary to break down specific drugs which some drug tests also look for).

Moral: If you've taken 30 mg of IR, 5 days is plenty of time if you're of similar stature and even if not, take into account most of the fear that's making you read this entire story and even search this in the first place is in your head. I was scared to death from the moment I took the test till I received the results (8 days!!!) but once you take the test there's nothing you can do. Drink water and even work out for your body's sake, but the drug will break down at its own pace and there's nothing you can do about it that will change this time drastically.

Tip: If you know you're going to fail (took Addy, marijuana, etc right before a test) and can't get access to fake urine, dilute dilute dilute (drink alot of water before the test). Worst they can do is make you come in and retake the test once they figure out that the sample is too diluted giving you more time to break down and get the drug out of your system.

I am on cymbalta 60mg at night and 30mg in the morning along with 200mg of gabapentin 3x a day for fybromayalgia and mild depression. I was given adderall 30mgs and I took a few of them. I felt focused but had started to sweat excessively for a couple of hours and my pupils are dilated. I looked up the symptoms and it linked me to serotonin syndrome. Being freaked out I didn't take my gabapentin or cymbalta yet today. My question is...if I took 60mg of adderall this morning, should I take the other two scripts (cymbalta and gabapentin) today or skip them and wait 24 hrs for the adderall to leave my system? Do I need medical attention or am I being paranoid? My muscles are cramping up in my back and hands so I'm not sure if this is caused from skipping my meds for fibromyalgia or if I could be experiencing life threatening conditions? Also I have prescribed Xanax I take occasionally for anxiety...should I take one to calm down the effects of the adderall? I know this is a lot of questions but I need help on what to do. I won't be doing this mix ever again! Please send feedback. Much appreciated!

That's a lot of adderral you did so the likelihood of you testing positive if tested on Tuesday is pretty high. I would say by Thursday it should be out of your system for urine test.

You have no worries as I am in the suboxone clinic also. I never take what they prescribe me because that's plain nuts to have to take 2 a day. When I started out I tried 2 a day for 3 days and I just kept getting sick and kinda felt euphoria and def didn't like the effects. My dr wouldn't drop my dose down so I was forced to do it myself. So I literally take a quarter in the morning and a quarter at night and I pass all my tests just fine lol. As long as its in your system you r fine trust me, but take some the night b4 and some that morning to make sure its fully in your system okay. I hope this helps you or anyone else. I was surfing for answers to another question I had but I saw this and felt the need to comment on here. So if on subs do what I said and you will be just fine. Most don't test levels just to see if it's in your system. I'm on monthly visits now and have been clean off everything for months and have been doing this since day 4. So good luck and feel free to any other questions on the suboxone, I'm pretty good at this pill/strip sad to say...
