How Long Will Adderall Stay Detectable In Urine

I am a Methadone patient. My clinic does random drug tests once a month. They send urine to a lab but just for the standard test and only upon false positives and other rare circumstances they have the lab extensively test (this is done rarely for the clinic is cheap, seriously). I took 30mg Adderall through the day Friday and stopped by 5:00 pm. The soonest I can be tested is this Tuesday. What is the likelihood of the results being positive? Thank you and I know what I did was dangerous and regret it.

Adderall contains mixed amphetamine salts and they can be detectable in a standard urine test for approximately 5 days, after last dosing. Thus, there is a chance that you may fail the test.

There's no way to give an exact time frame, because it will vary from person to person, depending on your overall health, activity levels, fluid intake and etc.

Thanks Verwon. I appreciate the reply. Thankfully there was no test Monday and have been provided with Methadone til this Friday, making Saturday the absolute soonest I could be screened. Thankfully I dodged a bullet here because upon a positive screening I would have to go back to attending daily to get my dose. And, yes that was all I needed. Thanks for the info.

I have to take a drug test because I am on methadone 5mg I'm not supposed to take anything else it was not strong enough so I took 1 aderall 30mg also 2mg. Valium the test is thur is the aderall and Valium going to show up it took them yesterday surprise test

Well "rule" of any medicine OR metabolite (what the drug is broken into after digestion or processing by liver etc) is half life x 6= detectable time. Unfortunately half life of Valium is 60hrs so 60 hrs x 6 = 360 hrs. 360/24hr in a day = 15 days! There are exceptions to the rule and ironically Klonopin is one of them. It has a 40hr half life x 6=240hrs or 10 days BUT for "some" reason is really hard to detect and I tested negative 3 times having taken everyday for months and even the DAY OF my test. (I was supposed to test positive ironically, so I had opposite problem). But yes, Valium has no exception and you'll stay positive for AWHILE even on a single dose. I have my theories on the K pin issue, mainly b/c unlike every other benzo, K pins turn into an INACTIVE metabolite whereas Ativan, Xanax, and Valium keep breaking down into active ones the still keep working on the body. Sometimes as many as TEN metabolites created in the process which is why it has such a long half life to begin with.

I go to methadone clinic as well and have been taking adderall on and off for good 5 years. for the quantity you have done I'm positive you will drop dirty, the rule of thumb for me at least is for 30 milligram it takes about 72 hours to get out of your system if you take adderal here and there but if you use it continuously it will build up in your system and it will take longer than that to be safe about 5 days. but for the quanty you have done it will take more than 3 days. that is at least my opinion and I speak from my experience. but everybody's metabolism is different.... one way to help detox your body is to work out that will help your body get it out faster, and for drinking a lot of liquids it may help but I wouldn't rely solely on. anyway good luck to you

If im on suboxn 8mg twice a day but my friend stol most of them i only have 3 left im afraid if i tell my dr he will take me off if i tulk two the day before and one in the morning of the dr visit will that be anuff to have in my urin so the dr will keep me on them

I'm also on Suboxone, but my doc is at my treatment (outpatient) center, former ER doc and an addict himself. He's not judgmental; I only hope you are 100% honest with him/her. If what you posted about what happened with your suboxone they will see through it quicker than s***. Be honest and you'll be surprised how willing they are to help you WHEN you really want to be clean. Hopefully what you said is true; you'll probably (most likely) be required to get a police report before any refill will be given. If a "friend" stole my Suboxone you're damned right I'm going to the cops (who I really don't like) because that b**** obviously didn't give a crap about what will happen to me (you) without this medication. Not a friend - get the police report, obviously don't bulls*** the cops = false police report. Make sure and get a copy of the exact and completed police report; get the officer's card when you file then go to the cop shop and explain what you need. You'll get it fixed; if you use insurance you will most likely have to pay cash. Good luck and keep us up to date.

If you take half one the morning of if its in afternoon you be good and half the night before they just check mostly its in your system not levels at least where I am just make positive and no lab or nothing

I have a very hectic stressful job that requires me to focus nonstop, I lost my insurance recently when I got divorced and therefore couldn't afford my prescription for adderall. A friend of mine gave me two 30 mg pills to take to help me get some work done, I took one Friday afternoon and one late Friday night. I was just informed I have to take a drug test Monday morning at 9am. Ive only taken the two pills but I'm terrified I will text positive. What can I do to flush these out of my system?? Help please! I can't lose my job. I have 50 hours to clean out my system I need advise please

It's sounds as if you need to change some things in your life. My friend I'm a recovering alcoholic/addict. It doesn't go away. I know exactly what you are thinking and saying. I can do this on my own. Honestly my friend please tell me how many years you've been saying that? Assented a meeting and be open minded. You only have one life.

Yes, you will be OK. I was on Methadone for 29 years then switched to Suboxone 8mg x2 a day...I usually only take 1/2 of an 8mg in the morning and 1/2 at bedtime... Have been on the suboxone for 3 years now and Dr. has never questioned me....Some clinics test for quanity some just to see if it is in your system. Hopefully your clinic tests just to see that it is in your system but not how much...Best of luck...

Hello. I weigh 235 lbs, 6'3 h. If I took a 5mg XR Adderall on Sunday morning and took a urinalysis drug test on Saturday morning, (about little over 5 1/2 to 6 days later) would I fail a drug test with a screening level of 500 ng/mL?

My birthday was this weekend and we decided we were going to take Adderall. We took 15mgs each at 3am on Sunday, come to find out I have a drug screen this morning (very next day) at 8am. I drank cranberry juice, drank lots of water to where my urine came out damn near clear. Do you think I will pass my test? It was my first time trying it.
