How Long Till Suboxone Is Out Of My System (Top voted first)

I was put on suboxone after two years of narcotics from three bad and failed shoulder surgeries. I started in March, April was on 1 pill a day and May 2 weeks 1/2 pill 2 weeks 1/4 my last dose was thursday. my shoulder dislocated again and need something but I don't want to be ill. any suggestions? the pharmacist says its out in 24-36 hrs but now I don't know. any suggestions?

The main concern is actually the Naloxone, since that is what neutralizes opiates to prevent anyone abusing them, while they are under treatment with the Suboxone.

Naloxone actually has a fairly short half-life of only a little over an hour and it takes approximately 5 to 6 half-lives for something to be eliminated from the body, so it would be gone in about 6 to 7 hours.

The Buprenorphine, which is the narcotic ingredient in Suboxone actually has a very long half-life of about 72 hours, so you'd be looking at about 360hours, or 15 days, before it is fully processed out of your body.

I am on 6 mgs of suboxone a day. I have recently started having a lot of health issues which all my Dr's say I need pain meds for. I am suppose to start taking norco 5's soon but they are only starting me on one three times a day. That worries me because suboxone is much stronger than norco 5's three times a day. I am worried that once I switch from the subs to the norcos they wont help at all and I might end up having withdrawls because the norcos wont be strong enough. Has anyone had any experience like this? Could someone please tell me how I should do this? Any advice would be much appreciated.
