I was on Suboxone for a little over a year. I quit about a month ago. I may have to take a urine test for the courts. Will it show up? Should I mention it prior?

I went to drug treatment and took a suboxone 3 days prior and it showed up on a 12 panel test but it takes about 4 days depending on your metabolism.

im on house arrest too and took less than half of one last tues at like 6am and just failed a drug test the following Monday afternoon

Thats not true i took a 12 pannel test for circle OF care for my Dui counsuling and i tested for it but then again i had taken one that day i have Probation in 18 days and have been talking them everyday for about a month i'm trying To figure out if it will still show

Not if you have been off it a month . I was on sub a yr and it was completely out of my system in 14 days exactly

You most likely can't ever! I've been on 16,mg for 9 years and my doctor says that is the max. There was a doctor in this town giving out 3 a day and he lost his license. See suboxone is not supposed to build up a tolerance,to it like,other medications. Once you reach the 16 mg, that's it. My doctors swears you would get no better pain relief by adding another. Its just not done here in Louisiana.

That is not normal the reason they say 8mg is the average dose. It's because nobody needs more than that. After the first few weeks taking 8mg suboxone you will be feeling normal and temptation free. Some people can't handle the first few weeks because they want to feel euphoric and not feel normal or sick so they go back to drugs or over 8mg of suboxone. Newsflash your body will get used to it after taking 8mg a day for over two years, you will feel the need to either go up or get off the s*** because at that point your just lining their pockets and torturing yourself/putting your life on hold. Its still an addiction people. It's meant to be taken for 1-2 years to get you accustomed to living a sober lifestyle and living life on life's terms not for the rest of your life; its a hard long process to get off and if your taking more than 8mg it will take years to come off or your likely to just go back out and f*** your life sideways with a cherry on top.

You're right, coming off subs is very bad. I've been off for 14 days. The first 5 days weren't so bad, but it's gotten way worse and it's day 14. I'm sweating, shaking and jerking.

It breaks down to oxi morphone as it's leaving the body. At least that's what mine said (lab test) I was on nothing but pot and suboxone when I took the test so I know that it couldn't have been anything else.

I go to a pain clinic. The main DR that runs it is a freeken idiot and I mean an idiot! I am not on disability but he trashes anyone who is! He makes them go to physical therapy and tells them they have to get off there butts and stop living off his tax dollars. My point is they will only prescribe lortab and your lucky to get four tens per day! But he will gladly give you a bupe patch that lasts a weak and slowly goes into your sytem. He will give you stronger and stronger patches. I know why he does it! He wants to block everyones lortab in case they are getting a buzz on it.

I had another DR at the clinic take me completely off the patches. But I wanted a break from the tabs after 10 years on them so I got 4 subutext. They do specifically test at the clinic because they regularly prescribe the patches . I came up with the subutex in my system five days after I took one! The only thing that saved me is I told the DR I had saved a patch and put it on my arm because my tendinitis flared up and I thought it may help if I put it right my arm close to the pain. I was dirty for subs five full days after only taking four NO 8 mg for four days!
