How Long Does Suboxone Stay In Your Urine (Page 7)

I was on Suboxone for a little over a year. I quit about a month ago. I may have to take a urine test for the courts. Will it show up? Should I mention it prior?

I told a felony judge I take subs, but I don't have a script. He told me to report back for a urine screen in 10 days. A site called 'passmydrugtest' says 1-3 days but from a felony court judge maybe that would be helpful for someone out there!

Are you positive that Suboxone will be out of your system in 4 days? How do you know this? What other factors?

Hello, I have took drug tests for the courts and buprenorphine (main ingredient in suboxone) has always been included with the panel..I even had to once before back in 2011/2012 and it was even included back then.. I think maybe when it first came out it was separate but I am certain first hand it is included!!... hope this helped you!!!

It will not show up on a 10 panel but it will show up on a 12 panel of the 12 panel says plus barbiturates. Also a 13 panel will show for suboxone. If it is a 10 panel like most employers do, you will be fine. It can take 2 weeks to get out of your system if you're a consistant user. If it was just once which is stupid, than it will be out in about 3-5 days. Good luck.

I'm responding to the post made by Verwon, I'm wondering about your answer regarding how long suboxin stays in your urine.. I've heard four days and I've heard ten days. . Can u please clarify and verify how long it is. ? And how you know this. . I'd appreciate it

You ALL don't know what tf you're talking about! I wouldn't trust one person with info. No one seems to agree on anything. lf you want to be safe about drugs, RESEARCH the drug.

Depending on how long you had been taking it and how many MG's, it can take anywhere between 6-14+ days. I speak from experience and research, and it's all in the numbers anyway. Suboxone has a mean half-life of around 20-24 hours or so, meaning if you take 8MG's today, tomorrow you'll have 4mgs in your system, the next day 2mg, next day 1mg, next day .5mg, ect ect. But even after it's ran it's course you'll probably end up pissing dirty for a day or more after it's all gone.

Oh no- that's not true. Any urine analysis that tests for "drugs", Suboxone will show up like a huge red flag. They don't need to test specifically for the drug. My one dr gave me a sample of one film strip to see if I'd have a reaction, and it showed up as buprenorphine on the UA for my job. Don't assume at all that you know that answer. One time use, and it showed up on a general drug test.

Well you're wrong. I took it once, and it was a whole week before my UA for my government job. It showed up. Do not assume it doesn't get detected unless they are specifically testing for it. It shows up on even the over the counter cheapie drug tests!

Just letting you know that different counties and different states have different tests. Some counties test specifically for suboxone if it is widely used or abused in that area. But for the most part the counties in big cities do not test for subs.

My son takes suboxone, two ( 8mg strips ), When he first got his prescription for
subs it wasn't enough to get him through so he told his provider he needed a higher dose and they gave him enough to be comfortable,, So talk to your provider..

Hi I've been taking one 12mg sub a day for five days and took my last one saterday night at 1030 it will be about 37 hours b4 I am urin tested in the morning i have been drinking lots of water and lemons in my beverages I have also been drinking other fluids and trying to be active in hopes of speeding up my metabolism do u think there is anyway to pass a drug test as I'm not prescribed subs but uses them from time to time so I don't over do it with the pain meds that r prescribed to me please send truthful useful answers and also suggestions to help flush the subs out as I'm going to speek to my doc tomorrow when I see him however I want it to come from me and not froma failed test please thank u for all uor help and support may we all find what we need here get our lives together and just do right. It takes any,opiate u took prior to 30 days to get out of your system ..your doctor knows rhis which why he sending to lab to get rhe level so if get a postive again aslong level lower till out completly keep eye on it..

A single dose of suboxone can be detected in a urine screen for up to 3 days. If you're not a regular user, and since you took a small dose, you may be ok. Good luck to you!

Also you didn't mention what you are taking the test for, but the test has to look specifically for buprenorphine, it will not cause a positive result for other opioids. Hope this helps, and God Bless
