I took about 40 mgs of Oxycodone between Saturday and Sunday. Will I test clean for my drug test on Thursday evening?

I'm enrolled in the pain management program at my VA hospital and they strictly forbid me obtaining any pain meds from anywhere else. Even my dentist. I had a root canal on Tuesday and he prescribed (12) hydrocodone APAP 7.5/325 to be taken once every 6 hours. My last dose is this evening, Thursday at 6 pm. And my urinalyses at the VA is next Wednesday. Will it show?

If i took 20mg of oxycodone on Friday and drank tons of water are cranberry pills and drank cranberry juice could my urine be clean on monday night.

My name is Bill, I normally Take 5 5 milligram percocet every day I ran short unfortunately due to the pain I'm in I'm on disability and I take a urine test every month I had taken I have not taken any meds for a week and a half now and in severe pain I was able to get 2 20 milligram percocet when should I take them before I have my urine test so it does show that I am taking my medication

Ok so i am very nervous, I took 60 mg of roxy (blues) 80 hours ago. I just was sent to take a drug test. I was clean for 6 days before taking the 60 mg.. I drank a large amount of water and vitiman b for color and gave my 3rd void after waking up.... Will i pass? I understand I'm cutting it close but what are my odds?

Oxycodone has a half life of 3-4.5 hours. Determine total hours from last dose to drug test day. Subtract 4.5 from Total hours. For every subtraction divide drug dose by 2. Example for a 10 Mg Oxycodone If your last dose was 8 am Monday and you have a urinalysis at 8 am Wednesday, resulting in a total of 48 hours. 48 - 4.5 = 43.5 hours remaining then divide 10 Mg / 2 = 5 Mg 43.5 -4.5 = 39 hours then 5 Mg /2 = 2.5 Mg 39 - 4.5 = 34.5 then 2.5 /2 = 1.25 Mg 34.5 - 4.5 = 30 then 1.25/2= .625 Mg Pretty much negative, DOD testing threshold 30- 4.5 = 25.5 then .625/2= .3125 - 25.5 -4.5 = 21 then .3125/2 = .1565 Mg - no more worries beyond this point. 21- 4.5 = 16.5 then .1565 /2= .07825. Total Clearance Time: 4.5 x 7 = 31.5 hours to clear 10 MG of Oxycodone from a typical person with normal urinary functions. It helps to drink lots of water. For DOD Personnel, you can dilute your sample without repercussions by consuming at least a liter of water an hour prior to the test. Make sure you get your initial urinal evacuation out of the way and submit a test after subsequent evacuations. This is because DOD labs is based on threshold not presence of a drug. Just doing this because I also took a risk taking meds instead of going to sick call. Option was self report or either risk it. Fortunately I had nothing to worry about.

HI THERE.. I WOULD LIKE TO ANSWER MOST OF THESE QUESTIONS WITH KNOWLEDGE FROM MY OWN EXPERIENCE.. i am pretty overweight (about 40lbs), have a terribly slow metabolism, dont exercise except for walking my dog which doesn't count, However**... i do drink tons of water a day.. ive always been that way and idk if that had something to do with it but - I TOOK HEROIN (about half a gram) ON A SATURDAY AND I HAD A DRUG TEST MONDAY AND I PASSED.. i took the heroin until about 11-11:30pm on saturday and was tested around noon on monday.. i was SO terrified but IT CAME BACK NEGATIVE. Now i had only taken it that one day, but before that i prob had a 2 week clean span, but took it daily before that for like 3-5 months.

ANYWAY MY POINT IS.. drugs like that leave your system insanely fast imo.. depends on how much you take a day and how long, BUT IN MY TEN YRS OF EXPERIENCE WITH OPIATES I CAN TELL YOU THEY'VE NEVER EVER STAYED IN MY SYSTEM FOR LONGER THAN 48-60 HOURS.. ive taken plenty of drug tests too, so im going off experience.
ANYWHO.. i rambled and im sorry but i just dont want ppl who have more than 72 hours to freak out.. even if you've been taking it for 1 yr str8 everyday the MOST IT WILL EVER TAKE TO FLUSH OUT OF UR BODY IS 3 DAYS. And i highly agree - drink water, REAL cran juice, & try to exercise if you can just to be sure you're in the clear and have done everything you can to pass the test.

I don't care if this is like 4 years old, I need to respond. You want to go to the dope clinic where it's easy to cheat at? "Lol" That's funny to you? I'm lmao at the idea of another addict taking advantage of free services & abusing the system. I'm sure you wouldn't have that attitude if you had to pay for your services or if you had a job & the taxes taken out of your paycheck every week covered the bills of someone like yourself. I don't have any issues with people seeking recovery & getting help, or even using~ I am on a site about drugs, after all! ~ but when you mooch off of the system by free loading off of hard working people, you're the lowest of the low. Come back & get help when you're ready. You're taking up space for someone out there who really wants it.

People take it because they're in pain many times and doctors act like a narcotic is crack these days. People are forced to live with pain that is intolerable. If you're lucky enough to get any medicine from a doctor you probably aren't getting enough and are forced to either live with pain or find something to compensate the difference and hope and pray they don't take away what little you do have. It's truly sad the way people are treated with pain these days due to others that abuse it and overdose. I've been told by pain doctors that they don't even give their cancer patients 15mg a day. That is just plain cruel! Old people, most of the time, that have to spend their last years in pain and can't even count on their doctors. Doctors act like this medicine is the strongest thing in the world, but it's far from that. If a person really had pain and takes it they don't feel high, they simply get relief.

Start a exercise program. One that is vigorous. Drink plenty of water or Gatorade. This will help you quit this terrible habbit. Use less of your crutch each week until your totally off this genocide drug.

Seriously nobody needs that much oxycodone unless they're dying. That sounds like something you need to discuss at a rehab facility. If you took that much in one day you may want to be thankful you are still breathing!

Hello. Typing this because I passed and hoping to ease someone's anxiety over urine screens. For three weeks I've read every article and thread on oxycodone excretion. I have been a nervous wreck. So here goes. I took 20 mg of percocet with no acetaminophen. The small round green one. I did this by taking half at 2 pm on a Sunday. I then took the other half at 4:30 pm same day. Monday morning at 9 am I took another half then had the other half at 11:30 am. So. 40 mg total in a little less than 24 hours. I am in my late 30s. 5'10" and weigh 220. (Time to diet). I took a urine screen at 10:30 am Thursday morning. 10 panel sent to lab. This is for probation of a county that stays funded from failed urine screen violations. And passed. So almost 3 days between.
