I am taking the generic for Levaquin for 7 days. 750 mg 1 pill a day for a bad sinus infection. Tomorrow is my last pill. How long will it remain in my system after tomorrow?

I was on levofloxacin 500 mg tablets one a day for the past 4 days. Very bad calf and knee pain, as well as in my upper arms. Dr is now starting me on amoxicillin 875 mg, 2 times a day to clear up my sinus infection. Is it safe to start another medicine 24 hours later after taking the levofloxacin?

I have used 1x500mg levofloxacin-winthrop as precriped by our doctor. My leg, stomach and arm muscles feel as if i have over exercised. Am i allergic to this medicine?

I was prescribed 10 tablets 500mg each for a broncial infection, 1 tablet daily. After taking 4 tablets, I experienced severe axiety attacks or panic attacks. I stopped and went back to my doctor who told me to finish them. After taking another for 2 days, ( 2 more), it started over again, only more severe than before. I stopped for good.

I have taken this for 3 days and I am experiencing a unpleasant odor in my hair and as l breathe in. Is this odd? And will it leave soon...500 mg one a day for three days.

Had very slight macular degeneration in one eye and after taking levofloxacin for only five days the degeneration increased rapidly squiggley lines etc. Can this progression be reversed or stopped at this point? Terrible drug don't know why Dr.s prescribe it when they don't seem to know the side effects can be devastating.

I too was prescribed levaquin but for 20 days. I had to just go to a orthopedic dr they are afraid I am going to rupture my knee. I have pain in many joints and soreness as well as other problems. Never taking again.

I took it for 9 days, I didn't take the 10th pill, because I was having severe muscle pain in my arms and shoulders and my bones would crack in my shoulders. I couldn't lift my left arm without pretty severe pain. Also, my knees hurt. I stopped it a day and a half ago, feeling a bit better, I hope it hasn't caused damage!

I was on levofloxacin for 28 days. The entire time I was having severe anxiety attacks and panic attacks. I also am pretty sure I had similar reactions from clindamicin. The anxiety was so bad I could not function. It got so bad dr. Sent me to see mental health dept. I thought all along it was medication and said so. I am about 10 days from the last pill and this is the first day I have had relief from the anxiety. I am 66 yrs old and never felt that kind of anxiety before. I would like to hear if other people have had this problem so I could show dr. the posts.

I took levaquin for two weeks and my ankles swelled up so big i could hardly walk. after two weeks my Achilles tendon ruptured resulting in major surgery and I have not been able to walk on my right side since then. I will be in physical therapy for the next 3 months

I was prescribed a fourteen day antibiotic regime of Levaquin and Clarithromycin for H Pylori. What my dr. didn't tell me was that I should have stopped taking my cholesterol medications while on the drugs. I have had severe muscle aches as a result and tendonitis in my shoulder. Levaquin can cause tendonitis. The sleeplessness and nervousness have occurred as well. It will be a cold day in hell before I ever take Leviquin again.

I took generic Levaquin for 3 days and thought my head was going to explode. Suppose to take it 4 more days but stopped it. The pressure in my head was horrible and I had jitters, anxiety and muscle aches. I would rather deal with sinus and chest congestion than the side effects of Levaquin.

Iv been on them for 4 days and off for two days I'm having horrible anxiety and I can't sleep at night! My hands and arms are tingling and I'm really scared! I don't know what to do! I have pnemonia which is why they were prescribed to me so I went back to the doctor and they gave me a different kind of antibiotics! I didn't start them yet Becuase I'm scared!

I was put on levofloxacin 500mg. I took one pill and begin to fell jittery. I then could not sleep that night. Next morning I felt okay, took another pill and about an hour later became very sick on my stomach, having anxiety and feeling like my heart rate had tripled. Called Dr. and he put me on another med.

I was giving Levaquin this past Wednesday for a sinus infection.Took my 1st pill at 5pm, 500 mil & was given 7 pills. By 10pm I was hallucinating, was up all night feeling bugs on me, severe pounding in head, couldnt sit down had to pace the floors went to Dr at 8am. My blood pressure was 160 over 80, I weigh 100lbs & very petite so this was very high for me. I went off the drug immediately & today almost 48 hrs later still feel shaky & have slight headache & still haven't slept. I'm 62 yrs old & this drug literally made me so sick it felt like I was poisoned.
