I took only one 7.5 lortab and was drug tested. Will it show up in my urine? If so, for how long?

I have been on 750-325 hydrocode, prescribed by pain management. For about 3 years. Just finally had back surgery in June. I take one pill every morning. I have got to get back to work. So, I have a drug test because the job is driving. I didn't take one today or yesterday. I'm very nervous about taking the test tomorrow and failing it after all the hard work I have done to get there. I guess my concern is since i have been taking them fire years, is the lifespan longer in your body. Thanks

FYI is correct. Drugs show up different on the test.

Lovepain is incorrect! Meds DO show up differnt on a drug screen. For instance if your prescribed Oxycodone & you take hydrocode it WILL show up different! most dr now don't just do an opiate test. hydrocodone has a morphine base in it that oxycodone does NOT so they show up as a differnt medication. I know 110% this is correct from experience! I'm percribed percocets (oxycodone) by my pain management dr but went to the dentist & had a tooth pulled, dentist wrote me an rx for lortab (hydrocodone)..when I went to take my bi Monthly regular visit I have w pain manangment it DID show up as DIFFERENT medications which I had a explanation for so I wasn't in any trouble but Lovepain was NOT correct. Medications are rarely lumped up into ONE opiate these days! FYI

Lortab and Vicoden are brand names for hydrocodone. It's the same drug, so you'll be fine.

You should NEVER TAKE MORE THAN WHAT YOU'RE PRESCRIBED...I Suffer from Severe Back Pain, due to an Injury I sustained & have 3 Herniated & 2 Bulging Disk in My Lower back, as well as Degenerative Disk Disease. I have Severe pain Daily, but is less "THANKFULLY" due to My Pain Meds from My Pain Management Doctor. Some days are A LOT WORST HAN others. Depending on the Weather, aka.. Rain, Cold, & Simply Over doing it. Sometimes I just have to get things done, I do those things, such as housework, grocery shopping, and even Playing with My PRECIOUS GRANDDAUGHTER, but I ONLY TAKE MY MEDS AS PRESCRIBED. THEY HELP MY PAIN, BECAUSE I DON'T ABUSE THEM. . But, 8yrs ago I DID ABUSE PAIN PILLS for the same Pain I have Now..The Result was NEVER GOOD, and I was ALWAYS IN PAIN...NEVER ANY RELIEF. But since I Started taking As DIRECTED...To GOD BE THE GLORY...I DO HAVE LOTS OF DAYS WHERE I CAN MORE AROUND & GET "THOSE OTHER THINGS" DONE... EATING HEALTHIER & Walking & Whatever I can do, MAKE ALL THE DIFFERENCE. GOOD LUCK & MAY GOD BLESS..

I took cocaine 7 days ago..havent used any before that in 3-4 montns ago..i only used about 100 dollars worth..5-8 lines in a 24 hour period.will it show in a drug in the next day or two?

My wife just took a lortab that's she took when at home so she don't take them at work(I had to make her because she is very strong.my thing is she was perscribed 4 years ago and took only with very painful situation. Would she fail? My point is don't judge.Itis so ssad seeing my wife in so much pain....

Fiorcet taken on a daily basis will cause rebound headaches, which basically means that not taking med will cause the headache. You need to get on something else for the headaches.

Lovenpain I don't get u at all. My husband had hydr 5.500 and i was prescribed percocet 10.325 and oxy 30mg. Dont know how it happened but the meds got mixed up and my drug test showed hydro instead of perc. And i got dropped. 1 x and i was dropped. I was devastated. Btw. I had taken the hydro 3 dsys prior. It showed up faintly. So they can tell. It goes show up. I saw the test myself.

No they can't detect how much that is in your system as long as you are taking them I've been disabled for 4 years and I'm on tremadol and I'm on percocets and some time I have to take both of those also and as long as that take both of them I'm okay so you are okay and I'm just saying because sometimes they are not enough for the pain that you're in sometime I'm not going to lie I have to take extra percocets

No s*** my old dr retired 2 yrs ago I was taking T3 chump change for back sciatica migraines took it away new dr did.. I am on disability. Been on Xanax .50 3 xs day since 1998 went to Pysch last week she gets all mixed up takes away Xanax cold turkey for my panic attack anxiety I am now feeling s***ty inside and out. Only thing I know happened was a drug bust on multiple Drs giving illegal suboxone out so she may have freaked and I got screwed. So yes people who abuse screw those who need it idk worlds crazy now adays
