If you drink plenty of water will it help clear your system quicker from taking a few gabapentin.

I'm so sorry for your diagnosis. May I ask if you are saying you feel like suboxone caused the cancer or is it not helping your pain?

I have been in a sub program for over 3 yrs and recently diagnosed with cancer. I'm in severe pain that's so bad I literally vomit. My Oncology team refuses to help me or take me off the subs. Subs have ruied my life and I.m most likely going to die. If anyone on the subs or in a program please get off of them or out of there. Ky drs are ignorant wen it comes to a sub patient.

people are getting off suboxone bc of gabapentin!?! That's craziness, I've been on 800 mg gabapentin and 4-6mg of suboxone for YEARS. I've never even heard of that being an issue..? I don't go to a clinic though and I've heard they have super strict rules. And they have a drug screen for it also???

It shows up as hydrocordone on a drug test, so think what you want, but it's definitely something to worry about!

Yes they do, because when i get the bill from the lab that my doc sends the urine tests too, shows everything they test for. Gabapentin was recently added. And just so some of you people know, if you are on pain meds, gabapentin can increase the effects of the pain meds and the gaba at same time. It is a weird drug, few times i was on it, it made me stagger when i walked at times and it makes you wanna socialize a lot. And some people i know take as much as possible to feel a high when i only need to take 2 or 3 300 or 400mg ones and i will feel them within the hour.

My wife is 9 months pregnant the baby will be here any day she has been taking gabapentin it doesn't show up n the test at her sub doc I need to know if it will show up in the baby's blood and how long it will take to get out of system before she is born its understandably difficult to understand exactly what I'm asking if anyone knows please tell me

Gabapentin IS NOW showing up in drug tests. I KNOW THAT FOR A FACT. They've showed up in mine

I'm on a sub program and haven't taken gabapentin in over 4 yrs, I have always had clean drug tests every week until the last two test that show gabapentin in my system and the drs don't believe me when I tell them the truth about not taking it in years

Thanks. I had been taking gabapentin for pain, which is why I asked. Saturday I had my first attack of vertigo and since have been feeling unwell, slight difficulty breathing, so I wondered if it had anything to do with residual gabapentin.

I don't understand the half life thing. I took one 300mg tablet 21 hours ago. Will it show up in my urine right now? I am prescribed the stuff and haven't been taking it regularly. In fact only the once.
