I took 10 mg of Ativan on Saturday night and have a urine drug test today, Tuesday at 5:30. Will it be out by then?

i just called cvs and told then that I am prescribed 1 milligram of ativan a day and I take it 3 times a day. she said that its out of your system in 72 hour. im on drug court and i have to be sure of what I'm doing because if I fail a drug test I will go to jail. good luck

It depends on the type of testing. If the test is a simple drug panel dip test Ativan will show up depending on weight, metabolism, and other factors for 5-7 days. If the test being used is a GC - MS test it can show up for a much longer period. If its a hair sample it will show up for 6 months.

First I can't stand reading semesters to peeps q's that are dead wrong and obviously assumptions. Ativan is a benzodiazapine and benzos have 2 seperate mechanisms that cause a failed test . There are three types of benzos short acting , intermediate acting and long acting . The short acting meds have a urine detection time of only a few hours , the intermediate will be 1 to 2.5 days and the long 6 weeks. Ativan falls into the intermediate class. The other factor is metabolite s many benzos metabolize into other benzos in the system causing them to hang around in the body. For example Diazapam metabolizes into oxeazapam , tamazepam and nordiazepam which are all dead ringers for the use of benzos. But here is the good news ativan (lorazepam) has no active metabolites and is a 2 day urine clear. My scource is NORCHEM'S published research on benzos.

The problem is that people assume that cuz one benzo. Metabolizes and ligers for 6 weeks that they all must which is simpley not true. When you are reading an artical about drug detection times and benzos says 1 day to 6 weeks

The medication can/will show up in your urine within 1 he of taking the Ativan. Frozen urine is good for up to a year if kept frozen. Once thawed and re-warmed three times---you need to get fresh frozen and start over. Believe me, I get tested regularly and I've definitely had my experiences with subbing urine! ;-)

How many hours will it take for my Ativan to show up in urine? I will be tested 3-4 hours after only consuming one 0.5mg dose. Also, does anyone know how long clean frozen urine will stay good?

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!! ive been taking ativan for anxiety and just got a new job opportunity ... gonna test in about 4 days, last time i took ativan was roughly 5 days... ive read so much about ativan staying in you for up to 6 weeks .. really freaked me out, thank you for the bit of peace of mind ! i hope youre right.

I hadn't taken Adivan for a really long time, until yesterday. I took 10 of the 1mg (had a bad couple of days and gave up on myself) The last ones I took were at 6pm yesterday and I may get tested tonight or tomorrow and I am paniced. Been drinking pomegranate juice, water & detox tea like mad crazy.
1) are you sure i will be good 24hours from the last pill taken
2) is there anything I can do to speed the process??

Ativan most definately veries from person to person..I have a drug test every month and as long as i give it 48 hours i have never once failed my labs..I have been doing this for almost 3 years now with no problems..Sometimes i wait 72 hours just to be safe..

Once I took 0.5 mg of Ativan on a mon. Had an interview 8 days later on a tues, and it still tested positive for benzodiazepines. It can take up to 14 days sometimes longer to pee clean again.

Hello. Could someone PLEASE CONFIRM that Ativan leaves the system quickly?? I've read so many varying posts that I'm a nervous wreck. I took 2mgs on Saturday and 2mgs on Sunday and have a urine test at 3:30 today. I'm begging someone to please reply and I will certainly post after I get my results.

I took an Ativan on a Tuesday at about 8pm and took a drug test Thursday at 9am and failed. Really sucks bc I was a dumbass and hadn't taken anything in months.

I am on suboxcone a program I took prob 8 .5 s the last few nights. My urine gets sent in take about a week or 2 for it to come back. I'm about 125lbs female. I'm on clanazapams .5 but before I went in to see him I did get put on lorazapams. I have now til the 15 th at 1030 am to see him. Also I took 2 perk 5/325 will this be in my system? In 7 days? Remember mine get sent in..help me asap

I took 10 mgs of Ativan (lorezepam) one week prior to being drugscreended. The results will be back soon. And I will post what came out of it. Thanks for putting my mind at ease guys
