How Long Does 0.5mg Of Ativan Stay In Your System (Page 3)

I took 1 0.5mg pill of lorazapam (generic for ativan) on Sunday night at around 10pm and have a drug test Tuesday at 4pm, will I fail? I do not take any other drugs and only took this one pill one time for anxiety.

If you NEED to pass a drug test so badly.....STOP TAKING MEDS THAT AREN'T PERSCRIBED TO YOU!!! (no brainer, right!) If you need the Lorazepam (Ativan) so badly, for whatever reason, GO TO YOUR DOCTOR and ask for help with your anxiety! In essence....GET YOUR OWN MEDS AND QUIT TAKING EVERYONE ELSES!

lol! If you don't like it don't come on this type of post. Pretty simple right? probably what you do with most your time so won't entertain with my reasoning or tell you about scripts I have. People do dumb stuff sometimes and is nice to find out information online just sorry people like yourself feel the need to post your useless opinion's!

Hi Jack, This is kinda a different question than the one above, but my question is how long do I have to wait to smoke marijuana after taking a 0.5 mg Ativan? The reason being is that I previously read that the two combined can cause respiratory depression. I took it at 11am this morning and am wanting to smoke due to other health reasons. when should I be able to saftely smoke marijuana? I only take Ativan once in a great while. a 24count bottle has lasted me about 4 months so far. Thank you for your time.

Ok now i'm scared because my pain management doc has me taking hydrocodone 10, methadone tablets 10mg and 1mg xanax at the same time for my pain and anxiety. Is he killing me?

I don't think he is killing you. I certainly wouldn't take any more of either medicine than prescribed because too much of either when taking them together could be a problem but I am pretty sure as long as you take both as directed you will be fine, although maybe a bit sleepy. :)

So I took .25mg of Ativan before my interview at 1PM on Tuesday. I have a prescription but its 2 years old so I was worried. I took a 9-panel urine test at 7PM on Thursday, 54 hours later. I got my results today and I passed. The threshold was 300ng/ml.

I read this thread and thought I'd comment to help people out.

You couldn't be more wrong. You must be confusing Benzodiazepines with THC. Fact check before you give incorrect answers. You probably scared the s*** out of the kid who asked the question. The CORRECT ANSWER is anywhere from 2-5 days for most Benzodiazepines. But with ativan it usually falls on the shorter side of the spectrum because it is a fast acting medication with a rather short half-life. Of course age, sex, weight, diet, length of use, amount of use etc. play a role. But on the average with a reasonable size dose of Ativan you SHOULD be out of the woods in > 4 days
