A lot of place won’t give subtex out anymore unless you’re pregnant where I live I got
Migraines everything they told me to spit the left
Over out that is mainly the blocked rinse your mouth afterwards
Re: Verwon (# 2)
State law says u have to be allergic to naloxone or pregnant to get the subutex
Re: Tricky (# 188)
I believe addiction should be categorized with mental health seeing from my experience people self medicate with opiates to control severe anxiety issues and other chemical imbalances!
Re: stephen5675 (# 10)
I have been on methadone for 8 years and it has saved my life. People who bad mouth methadone are either on too high of a dose and not ready for the next chapter in life. I was off everything but then had a severe back injury and refused any narcotic except methadone! If people have any questions feel free to write me back. {edited for privacy}
Re: Whitman (# 200)
Actually, you get more euphoria from Suboxone and not Subutex. It's all a scam for the drug companies to make money, and keep you on Suboxone forever cause it's simply better. The naloxone does nothing at all!! I've had both and actually kinda feel high from the strips!
The reason is because your doctor is only able by law to prescribe the name brand Suboxone. I have the same problem. It doesn't make me sick, but my out of pocket expenses with the doctor appointment and paying for thirty atrips is well over 500 bucks a month. I found out that certain doctors can only prescribe the name brand. Big Pharma making their money!!!
Re: travis (# 5)
Hi Travis so I've heard that's really the case.. But was your Dr fine with it the first time you told him that. Or was he not wanting to give you suite at first..pls reply thanks
This is addictive thinking. With Suboxone you are unable to get the effects from opiates. However, the possibility of getting the euphoria is possible with Subutex. This is a mental game that is the same as any other reservation one has when battling addiction.
With the Constipation: Suboxone is known to cause constipation since its in the opioid family. When or if yu discuss this with your doctor he or she will recommend dosing down tapering ... There are Methods around Constipation that yu can use along with ur stool softeners (be cautious of your bread and cheese intake) they can cause a lot of pain when& digestion system and bowels gets backed up try eating more fruit and or veggies in your diet! fiber makes a difference .
best of luck
You are a monster i personal have tried to go to the methadone clinics if u are/ were on done u wouldn't wish it on anybody wouldnt want any one living the he'll that done can do
That's not true. I can't stand the taste of suboxone. They have me on zubsolv now which is suboxone but less naloxone. I prefer the subutex because it didn't make me sick when I was pregnant. I had never even heard of them until then. I think it's complete bulls*** if they allow others to ruin it for everyone else due to their stupidity. It's not fair. Subutex has blocker in it anyways. I went from taking opiates to subutex thinking it wouldn't put me in withdrawal and it did so I don't see the difference. If only doctors would make the subutex unabuseable then that would work for so many more people. I get headaches as well as my stomach hurts every time I take a strip. So I don't get why all they truly care about is money. Well I do, but it sucks because they're scared about our well being... if strips truly work for ppl well then that's great, it's amazing and stay on it, but if they don't why take away something that could possibly help change someone's life for the better and as well as the long run?
Saying you have a headache does not always work. I am currently taking suboxone films. I have also tried the tabs, about 45 after taking them I get a horrible headache!! I was at work yesterday and my head hurt so bad I was having cold sweats and felt VERY sick to my stomach. I told my doc today and he wants to Blaim my headaches on stress and everything else under the sun. I want to continue treatment but I can't handle these headaches and being nauseous EVERY TIME I take one. Doctors assume if you are asking for something else that you want to abuse it, but that isn't always the case I did my own research and I found that the blocker is what causes the headache some ppl just can't take suboxone. Doctors need to do their jobs and being caring like they are meant to rather than judging their patients!!!
This is smack dab the exact experience I have been having too after going from subutex for almost 2 years from pregnant to breastfeeding and then I got switched back to suboxone but not without a argument but I could tell these side effects before I was put on subutex after being on suboxone about 2 years prior to that (i had grew accustomed to the signs I guess) up until they started writing me the subutex and those symptoms slowly faded away after a month or so and I then figured hey these work and I don't have to deal with feeling so weird all the time (i can tell a huge difference btween the 2 100%!) and stayed on those for as long as I could until they said without a form stating u are allergic or pregnant/breastfeeding I can't keep giving u these. So 2 months later I'm still trying to figure out how to get switched back I'm thinkn go to a regular dr and telling them my symptoms and the worst being is very rapid heart beating and shortness of breath and seeing if they will give me something saying I need to be in the other but other than that since being switched I haven't been able to see my dr I've saw a different one and omg this guy idk even know how to describe him but he tells me the heartbeat n shortness of breath isn't a side effect !! Well yes it is along with other side effects I'm having and he's telling me no so I googled it sitting in his office and said according to this yes it is and still I've not had any luck at all and I'm miserable almost so it even croases my mind to just go back to the pain clinic but that's not a road I want to take and I keep pressing thru but I can tell a big difference since I got back in this and idk about you but do u have like anxiety or depression fazes at all?
I just started taking Subutex last month. I went off of it because of the headaches and nausea. You have to watch out with that because naloxone has the same side effects. I also went off of it because I may need surgery in the near future, and I didn't want to be on the Suboxone. The Subutex also helps a little with my anxiety. If the doctor you are working with won't change you then I would talk with another Subutex doctor..Good luck. :-)
Well if it has a blocker why can I take it and then 6 hrs later take perks ?????
well I was on suboxone for awhile for addiction to opiates 30 or more years. I got started in Viet nam. Because of cancer I was switched to subutex. A research doc and friend said in a small controlled study naltrexone caused cancer tumors to grow in lab Rats. After agent orange exposure and 2 cancers , Therre was no way. I just had full knee replacement. After doc and I worked out a perfect plan rest of medical community kicked to the curb I started with oxy than hydromorphone over two months. I am using low dose subutex to kick. Jeff
I am trying to choose something to get off of the worst drug ever and I have narrowed it down to subutex and the implant that goes under the skin bc I know from personal experience that suboxone and methadone are not for me. Suboxone makes me throw up and have migraines and I get so scared to take it the first day bc I seem to ALWAYS put myself in early withdrawal which if you dont know are the WORST ONES YOU CAN POSSIBLY ENDURE. Not to mention the withdrawals after taking sub are just as bad but not worse than methadone withdrawals... Methadone goes into your bones and hurts for an entire year. I need a doc in Birmingham al that prescribes shots or subutex... Can anyone please help?
I could've sworn that the RA patents only last 7 years, that's why people are waiting on generic strips to come soon, and there's Buenavil strips made to stick on the inside of your cheek so ur supposedly guaranteed to get more of your medicine as well as be able to talk and smoke while it dissolves, but I always wondered if they were able to do Buenavil strips because of how they're made a bit different which may have caused it to get its own patent. But as of 2018 an IV version of subutex is supposed to be coming out and lifetime maintenance patients are going to be the candidates for it as it has no naloxone in it; plus you're iv'ing it so if you're on 16mgs a day that's what you're going to get cause it prevents the "not getting all my medicine" syndrome and cuts back on street availability plus you only get a shot every 30 days - Over the course of the month your 16mgs a day (just as an example) will time release into your body. It's an interesting concept to say the least.
Where in t that I can I find a dr , i was told unless u err pregnant they don't do it? With the exception of surgery , I live in cy
I was responding to a prior post. Apologies if my language confused you - I am opposed to the religious BS foundation as to why we take drugs - the moralising is actually implicit in the disease model. The key to our problem is personal exceptionalism, we think we are SOOOO special and unlike anyone else we create a false logic to continue using. Addiction has a very tangible physical component (withdrawal) and bad logic - it is not and never will be a disease
