Heroin False Positive Drug Test (Page 2)

My nephew keeps testing positive for Heroin after 14 days of not taking any, but he took a swig of codeine six days ago and swears he is not using. Is this possible?

Welcome to our nightmare.... How do we find out which clinics or labs are delivering these shoddy tests (or if some lazy person is even doing any testing)?
If we can find out who's at fault, we can start a class action suit. I dunno about the rest of you, but I'm tired of getting screwed over!!!

I am on Suboxone and I have to to take monthly urine test for my Pain Management...I have been told by my doctor that I had Opiate show up in my system according to the test and I let my doctor know that the test COULD NOT BE ACCURATE RESULTS!!! Cuz I know that I DID NOT take anything else other than my Suboxone.....And I asked my doctor why it would even give me an inaccurate result, cuz I told my doctor that I would take the test over again and show him that the results were not right l. Well...I have had it happen on multiple occasions where it showed up positive for Opiates in my system but I would not have been using any other medications other than my Suboxone!!! Turned out that it is not Opiates in my system, but it happens to be that quite often you will get an inaccurate reading on the results due to the urine test kits cups!!! So chances are or could be that the test results are not accurate.....So it is possible that the person could be telling you the truth that they are not doing anything wrong, but it could also be that you are not being told the truth about it!!! Might need a doctor to check it out for you and see what happens!!! Sorry I can't help you out any more than that!!!

This just happened to me. 1 year in pain management. In a wheelchair. Chronic, uncurable illness. Finally got into pain management. Never a problem, as i do NOT use drugs. Yesterday, my PM doc turned vicious. Swears I tested pos for heroin. HEROIN?? I don't even know what the stuff looks like! I insisted they take a hair sample to test, as that's supposed to be pretty foolproof. They refused. Didn't let me see their official test either.

My Plan: Demand EVERY record they have of MINE - originals - copies will not suffice. This info belongs to ME. If they refuse, I'll start the subpoenas. Then I'll go to a lawyer and start pressing charges. My records MUST include the name of EVERY person remotely involved with the handling of my test paperwork and/or physical sample.

Plan Part 2: Roll my riteous butt to their office (2 blocks from my apartment) and make them have me arrested for being a user of illegal drugs!!! Seriously! I'll have my acquaintance (a tv reporter whose office is a mere 2 blocks in the other direction) be present to film the arrest!

These crooked "pain management" places USE sick & crippled people to run their scams! They are so smug - so sure that we are intimidated by them!

Guess they're about to find out what's what!

They will either stick to their story about my "illegal drug use" and have me arrested, or they'll have to publicly announce that I do NOT use illegal drugs!

(Either way, I'm gonna change docs. These people SUCK at pain management & cannot be trusted, obviously.)

Sick people have enough to worry about. It is high time (no pun intended) that we get tough with these money grubbing, dope addled "doctors" and MAKE them do their job!
REFUSE TO BE A VICTIM!!!

And as my mom always said: If you're gonna make a scene, BE seen!

I have been a chronic pain patient for over 10 years. Currently taking morahine (100 mg twice a day) and oxycodone as breakthru. Everything has been fine. I was in for a normal reill appt. and was told I test POSITIVE for HEROINE. Have you got to be kidding me, I have NEVER touched the stuff in my life. What could be happening? I feel like I am in a bad mightmare.
